Absolute legend. Degree was so good at making every verse of a song important. Often the third verse was the hardest. many artists done one or two verses and then repeat. But when I’m a jugglin riddim mix I always have to play out a degree tune in full. big ups to the man….. the legend

General Degree dropping straight knowledge. @ Ari and Naro you all get hung up on the island pop name - the name is foolish, but what they're trying to do is package a name that they feel could reach a broader audience. A name that describes the sound in the mind of a foreign audience when they hear the name. Dancehall the name means something specific to you, but for audiences who are not familiar Dancehall sounds like a place which doesn't describe the sound in their mind.

Afrobeats is nothing to do with dancehall. Afrobeats was crested from different beats and finally sealed with African beats . Tell me that dancehall was before Afrobeats not Afrobeat and tell me this young youths from Africa, Nigeria especially admire dancehall artists yes but Afrobeats is strictly African . The mistakes you guys keep making is the word evolution is in existence so as the American artists did inspire the Ska and Rock steady artists and I mean Motown dem time that’s what music is about . Africa has doing music since creation but what has happened today is it’s the time for Afrobeats and will be here for a long time
