Those are beautiful crowns. Thanks for showing us the setting! I think it was one of the settings for the Pride and Prejudice (2005) movie where Mr. Darcy declares how ‘ardently’ he admires and loves Elizabeth and she tells him she never desired his good opinion. But, stunning views from that location!

The head designs are lovely and well constructed. Concerning daily/regular bathing of the entire body, is not only rejuvenating to the body because it removes oils that have clogged pores, but it removes dust mites, and other pests that attach themselves. Water and appropriate rubbing of the skin refresh and help to keep it younger looking. Bedding stays cleaner therefore sleep and rest is better. And your mate will appreciate it, and will encourage him/her to do the same.

Warm, wet and dark areas of the body are most likely to capture smells/odors as they are ideal for bacteria, including the underarms and other areas of the body. Flowers require frequent watering for maintaining their beauty and scent. 🌸

You know Georgie, you always say that watching you build a bouquet (or whatever) in real-time would be boring to us, but I guarantee you that 99% of us would watch that process with faces like this 🤤 with absolute pleasure lol. but truly, all us garden people, LOVE watching longer content with detail. So maybe try a full length work video at least once? And see what the response is like? PLEASE 🙏 🥹
@theflowerfarmer Жыл бұрын
lol - it would be HOURS! I try and add a bit of detail every time but the awful truth is that I am always actually doing my job and sometimes making a thing in reality and making a thing for a film are not compatible - one has to keep the film watchers in mind when making and in reality one folds oneself over this work very focused and the exciting bit isn't really visible - I do hold wreath making and hand tie demos relatively often and you can book a place on my website for those - lots of wreathing coming up for the autumn and Christmas for example - hope to see you there xxx

I am retired so don’t usually get hot and sweaty now. If clean and non smelly I will wear a top again a few days later, so maybe three tops over a week and my skirts get worn multiple times between washes. I find natural fabrics work much better than polyester and the like. Showers for me for years, and a timer so I am in and out quickly. Verbena has taken over my allotment and I have been offering plants to everyone I know but some will be sacrificed to plant my veg next year. Beautiful crowns, I love them and they looked good on you😁

I also live out in the country but I usually wear the same leggings and long sleeve shirt while working out in the garden in the morning because of the mosquito bites and some other small creature bites for about a week. I'll change to another set if they get really dirty. Then, after coming in for the day to work on indoor projects, I'll change to the clothes I wear say if I need to go to the store for something. Even then, the second set of clothes doesn't get dirty so I'll wear them for about 3+ days. I'll shower as necessary. If it is over 100 degrees out and I get really hot and sweaty, I'll come in and stand in a cold shower but not use soap, unless necessary. I also don't wash my hair daily. I'm retired but when I worked in Corp. America, I did shower every morning and wash my hair every day. I found I was using a lot of skin lotion and more products in my hair to keep it from drying out. So I think I've found a balance in my golden years. And anyway, my husband has a nose like a blood hound so if I were the least bit ripe, he would certainly tell me, God love him.

Totally agree with you about bathing (and flower crowns), we Americans totally overdo it then get very sniffy about it 😉 In my hippie days I used to love flower crowns, now not so much, although yours are very beautiful, and I think those jewel colors will look very luminous on a gray day. Plus it's two ladies marrying each other in a temple? I think that works, sort of Sarah Ferguson meets Caravaggio meets ancient Greece. Of course you could also do something like Princess Charlotte's jeweled tiara but in flowers 🤔 💚

I agree about bathing, not only for the planet, but also for vanity!!! All that soapy scrubbing, hot water is bad for the skin. In Australia, cool showers are best when it's humid. That's why your skin looks great, as is mine and I'm 69! In India, oil is used for cleaning the skin. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺

Since moving into the countryside, I wash every day but I bath and change my clothes every few days. I also use my bath/ kitchen sink water to water my garden and flush my toilet. Don’t forget the importance of eating plant based too as a huge amount of water goes to animal agriculture.
