Top tips for making a glass vase table centre with twittery pokery and seasonal flowers. Last week we made a jam jar posy, this week it's a design for a friend who has ordered mixed buckets for a dinner to be held in a beautiful panelled hall. So I've made this clip to show her how I would make the table centres if I were her.

You could buy a dark coloured roller blind and attach it to one of your beams to use as a background

Yes - I'd have to rearrange the layout so that the blind fell behind the set up and I'd lose the window light in summer - deff something to consider when the project is finished! xxx

If you want a dark backdrop you could try a photographers' supply house for a roll of seamless paper and an armature to hold it up. When, you're done, you simply roll the paper back up and put it aside.

A joyful spring arrangement complete with jiggery-pokery! Do you ever use a turntable Georgie? I bought one for about a fiver many years ago and it's still giving me enjoyment and saving shoe leather. It did do a stint on the garden table for a wee while too!
