What a beautiful human being. I didn’t have one negative thought for one hour. In 2024 that is a hard thing to do. The idea of him no longer being here stings a bit.

Gar(r)y! Maybe that was the cause of Marc’s death? Yes Marc, you are dead. Good enough reason for me. Did I just hear Marc plug BJ Novak? WTF? Indeed, Marc, WTF?!!! I’m commenting in 2023 and thoroughly confused. Then I remember that Maron has been dead for many years. Ok.

Garry Shandling is the result of a guy whose smart enough to be an engineer choosing to tell dick jokes on stage and TV instead. His comedy was just smarter than everybody else's but when he was coming up people forget how cutthroat the business was back then and you had to be tough to make it, and trust was a big thing for Garry and the one person he should have been able to rely on completely screwed him over to focus on younger clients The Larry Sanders Show is still my favourite satire of all time, watching it in the UK in the 90's was like watching something so advanced in terms of humour and character study, gave me a completely different slant on what's funny. Thank you Garry wherever you are

I love Garry so much, him, Roseanne, Paul Mooney, George Carlin, Chris Rock etc.. raised me as a child. As sad as that might be when the adults around me was not there thease guys always were. Side splittlng laughter and a warm feel. He is missed by so many. I would say life is cruel but life was good to Garry he was just too hard on himself. Loosing his brother must of been so tough on him thought. Hope you are safe and well.

Their talk is about avoiding the truth that humans are at best an inappropriate species for earth and have never found a path that is not a earth and self destructive dead end. Shandling lived his integrity to the end. So very few do.

Yes Shandling was a genuine innovator for 'It's Garry Shandling's Show', such sweet deconstruct of sitcom tropes. Was genuinely upset by his too early death, watch his statements on talk shows, he was a genuine humanitarian. He genuinely loved humanity and people. Loved 'Larry sanders Show' too, although it has honestly dated terribly in too few years. I like him and I feel that many people do, a good man , ultimately
