I loved the food in Malaysia when I visited 3 years ago. The roti canai is awesome! But what I loved most was their tea and the cold Milo drink. You're bringing back amazing memories Trevor through your videos! Stay blessed!

like some said, "if you wanted to taste indian food you must go to INDIA.. Chinese food must go to CHINA, thai food must go to THAILAND... but you can have all this food just in one country and you can find it in MALAYSIA,, that is why most tourist call "MALAYSIA TRULY ASIA" not just asia food, western, eroupe, arab are all here in Malaysia.... one country with world food ... so what say you guys!???

Hi Food Ranger, There's one Malaysia culture that Malaysia love their food that is BABA NYONYA cuisine . Is a mixture of Malay and Chinese during the old days. Most it can be found in Melaka only 2hours driving distance from Kuala Lumpur. And also can found in Penang also. Hope you able to find the food. Cheers...

Yes..banana leaf rice meal should be like the one in this video..this was how we enjoyed banana leaf rice many many years ago..not many outlets offer meals like this...fish curry gravy, chicken curry gravy I prefer on separate portion of rice to enjoy the taste of each individually..if it's too spicy, add some Rasam to balance off..Rasam is sour and spicy but very delicious and help to enhance your appetite...as for flooded roti canai,I will prefer not to flood the roti canai with gravy ..lose the crisp texture if flooded

Look forward next from the common meals in KL to the seafoods along the coastals and the local specialties in towns and villages! And the border meals around Northern, Southern Thai and Kalimantan borders.
