I loved your Indian series and sort of had my own adventure in learned how to cook Indian locally. No man has lived until he ends up in a kitchen with 10 Indian women that absolutely doesn't want him there. And I drove them crazy in other respects as I shelled two pounds of pistachios as well. They thought I was crazy for not only taking the time out, but buying fresh. My Indian cooking was ending up short until I found an Indian woman with enough guts to tell me I am not using a crucial Indian spice called salt! They had no idea why I was married and cooking my own food, which was creating a cultural problem. I finally said that I do cook food, but like a street vendor, and that made them happy.
