I would never call the movie a guilty pleasure, in order for a movie to be bad it has to fail at what it tried to do, StarShip Troopers knew EXACTLY what kinda movie it was, and i love it

In my opinion a movie can still be bad even if it doesn't fail at what its trying to do. In the case of Starship Troopers though I absolutely agree that they were fully aware with what they were doing and where to make the exaggerations etc and I love it too lol

I don't see how it's relevant that they knew what kind of movie they wanted it to be. It doesn't have to fail at that. Either way, i never use the term guilty pleasure. You either like the movie or not 😀

The technique that they use where placing the stupidity as part of the universe is a point of black humour that kills the drama /horror elements a bit to showcase the splatter/action ones and that was really good.. On second movie they wanted horror/thriller and in third more drama/horror so they felt out of place.. Luckily the 2 animated movies gone back on its root and they were awesome :3

Yeah but GOOD new movies, not like those direct-to-DVD releases that they did after the first two or so. (I think two got a theatrical release? Not sure but the rest went direct-to-DVD)

you might be able to play it on console with xbox gamepass ultimate cloud gaming, or a phone for that matter, i'm not sure if it is in their gamestore or not tho, all you need is a device that has a chrome browser.

This made me think of Deep Rock Galactic. You and Fisk and your other buddies would have a blast doing the different mission types in that game. Super fun co-op experience. Has more content than this at the moment, but this Starship Troopers game has a ton of potential. Looked like a blast.

Ten years old, a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich, and Starship Troopers (rented so frequently from our local VHS rental shop that it's a miracle our VCR didn't combust from all the rewinding it did!) If is the 2005 one what shocked me the most back then was the amount of bugs you could have on screen whit out burn the pc down just wish it had some type of remaster.

Yes, Our Fooster sounded congested in the Architects . He definitely needs antibiotics for sure. His enthusiasm has always been genuine . He's a real treat to all Us little Foosters. Stress and anxiety can also have a lot to do with it. Hopefully he will rid himself of the negativity. Life is too short to waste time on people who are part of the problem instead of the solution.

To be fair, the movie was kinda revolutionary in terms of CGI. They did some special effects that had never been seen before, and set industry standards in 3D animation. The intentionally campy nature of the film is just a wonderful icing on a surprisingly sophisticated cake 😂

Aim down the sight to reduce recoil. Also crouching significantly reduces the kickback too.
