The Wisent is also known as the european Bison. It's been semi extinct in central Europe because of the big density in population and hunting but it's slowly making its return by migrating back into Europe from the East. I was reading up on this when I first played this game - haven't heard of Wisents before either xD

Fast money tip would be to hunt boars for some leather and make a bunch of bags (3 leather each) or make tons of stone dagger. you should know that crafted stuff always gives more than raw materials, try to not sell leather and fur directly but craft it into smt and then sell it. Hope this is useful. Love the series

Thanks for the content! On the bison topic, there are two types of bison; the European bison is also known as the wisent. It's also taller and has a slightly less prominent hump compared to that found in the American plains, which is known as buffalo in the states. They are both from the same family, Bovidae😊

We are in nz and bringing in a boat from fishing with the kids we were in the bay trying to put the boat on the trailer with wild family or orcas five adults and some babies who got curious and came right up to the boat ramp. We let them look and move on then took out the boat. Big old creatures, lovely to look at but never interfere. We just stepped back and enjoyed seeing them watched them swim off.

Vincents r the european bison. Used to roam most of europ, but now ther r like 5 different herds left, the biggest is in the Carpatian mountain area. Sweden has vincents, but they r not classefied as a swedish speices since they immigrated in from Norway. So they r not protected according to swedish protection laws

yes, bison and buffalo are both in the bovidae (cows) family. so they are kind of related, but not super closely related. true buffalo are native to africa and asia, while bison are found in europe and north america.

Just to give you some information about animals so you can know, number one you were hunting red stag not elk although these animals can be commonly mistaken for each other, number two antlers have tines well horns are just spikes that stick out of an animal's head for example deer have antlers and plains bison or wisent have horns. If you want to take down a "bison" ( I can't remember the name ) in a cheeky way. Chop down trees in the best circle you can, then stand on the stump that's closest to the center. Arrows and a few stone spears do the trick.

The horns were antlers cause deer and elk and most animals like that excluding some have antlers which shed and and made of bone which regrow quickly and horns are made of bone and keratin and grow back rather slowly compared to antlers
