I hate that this game didnt blow up majorly. If this had a thriving community I would ditch DayZ asap for this. Its more beautiful, better gun play, less glitches, better performance, etc.

You can make a leather quiver from the animal skin (human skin will work also) so u have a little more inventory space. And u can repair the backpack (or any other clothing items) with the sewing kits. I love these scum series btw. Keep them coming :)

You can use a single tree to avoid the bear just keep the tree between you and the bear and it will lose interest and run off after a while

Not in the game, but irl with hunting and on our own meat chickens, guts are used for fishing (feathers are for making our lures and added to kids' craft supplies). Limbs and heads go to neighbors for their own bait with fishing and hunting. Meat is for eating, pelt is used in the house (shelf coverings, for example) if viable. Sometimes neighbor or I want the skull for shadow boxes or center pieces in DnD sessions. If anything isn't used or brought home, its dragged off trail or away from the house so predators go towards it and not towards our animals that night. Its appalling when I come across wasted hunts.

I know this was a while ago but do the animals and AI enemies actually *have* mortal zones besides the head? Like, it’s not a hunting game, do they actually have lungs/hearts to register? Could you drop a zombie with a heart shot(would that work in Scum? Are those things actually... well, undead?)

Mr.F if you're still interested in trying to wash clothes and you haven't figured it out already you need to be in fresh water and at least partially in the water to wash your clothes. I think I remember you having a hard time trying to wash clothes if I remember correctly 😅 Of course you need the soap and clothing to do so in the first place
