It is extremely unreasonable to be calling these clubs terrible. Some of them are very underrated, like the MLS as a whole. The galaxy and TFC are actually great clubs; it's just that the MLS is newer than the premier league. For example, Toronto was founded in 2007, about 10 years ago from when this was posted. We've gained so many good players in such a short time; I'm sure in about another 10-15 years the MLS will be destroying the premier league.

The only reason Monaco might come by as stranger is due the fact that the owner quite early lost half his wealth in a divorce ($4.5 billion), and then decided to slow down the project of becoming a powerhouse in Europe, and instead switching focus on becoming one of the best talent producing clubs in Europe.

LA Galaxy is not a terrible club. LA Galaxy has won the MLS Championship 5x since the leagues inception in 1997, which is far more than any other MLS club past or present has acheived. This is not evening mentioning the team's success in the CONCACAF Champion's League. David Beckham continued his career with a great club at the time when European clubs were being to ageist to sign a decent player. Some people could learn a lot from American soccer. it isn't fair to put Becks in here. For one, the MLS was barely a retirement home when he went. He basically made the MLS that we know today. It also wasn't a move like Alex Teixeira's, where it was completely about money. Beckham would have made a massive amount no matter where he went, that's how big he was. I understand your point on Beckman,but he did promote and grow the game in the US. That move was a good move. He could've moved to a middle of the road team and get nothing but payed from it. He came to the retirement league and grew his sport of football. The MLS is 100 plus years behind the rest of the football world. With players like Beckman,Villa and Kaka coming over towards the end of their career its helps. About the younger guys coming over,that's all about the money. Maybe a new league but they have tons of cash
