This song makes me think of the early/mid 2010s bc my mom worked for diamond sports, a baseball company, and she would get Angel’s/Dodgers tickets from her boss every few months. And this song plays during the 7th inning stretch at Angel’s Stadium, and it makes me sad and nostalgic every time I hear it.

I was 17 when this came on the radio, living in San Diego, Junior @ Kearny High School, listening to this at the beach (OB, PB), and still listening at 73.

One of those sad songs...when you listen to lyrics...but with a happy tune to it. Always a favorite. I enjoy the covers that have music suit the lyrics, but in those years, everything had to be something "the kids" could dance to.

leah My grade school was cool I was afraid my school mates would laugh at me because I had so many IRISH Freckles on my face, Turned out I was a ladies man the girls said my Freckles were cute on my face. Us O'GRADY boys must have been good looking these girls came to our house sometimes right after school to bad they were 8-9 year olds. Crazy 70s kids drinking beer at 14 years old. 8th grade we had a girl that looked like Steavie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac. I grew up watching Partridge Family & Brady Bunch. I was born a PISCES born to like Music, I went to Stadium concerts at 12 years old, saw Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Doobie Brothers, LYnyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Alice Cooper, I was a lucky pearson my Girlfriends liked to Party like me. They say girls like IRISH Men. I admit us IRISH are Different born with Red Hair & Freckles. It is true most IRISH like there Alcohol, Doesnt help most IRISH songs are about Drinking Hey we have our IRISH Dancing, Not funny most people think all IRISH are Drunks, & even today REDHEADS get Bullied. Funny some people think our Freckles are Bug Bites. Not gonna Lie us O'GRADY Family we liked our Alcohol. IRISH Familys are known for having lots of kids. I knew I was IRISH both Mom & Dad had IRISH last names O'GRADY & KELLY. Mom side gave us kids 12 first cousins. Again not gonna Lie being IRISH we liked our Alochol.

I'm only 19 years old, and I love all songs from the 60's to early 2000's. And this is one of my most favorites Edit: I've only turned 20 recently, 2023 I'll be having my 21st Bday (my bday is in September). And I do enjoy some music now, but not pop, hip hop or rap, that stuff 🤢not music. I enjoy Rock, classic rock, soft rock, rock and roll, heavy rock all that sort and some smooth sound music from the 60s - nowadays

Don't forget to optimize the video further by simply clicking the gear icon in the bottom right of the video window and selecting the highest appropriate video quality setting for your device (no higher than 720p if you're not sure) Thanks for this sweet little gem by the way and also a shoutout to the google ad or w/e it was that reminded me this song existed. Hope every one has a blessed life and that this song will help us understand that when she, yeah she, is messing you around, you tell her to kick rocks and if you never hear from her again then i promise it was the 100% best possible decision an assertive man of dignity and logic could have made. Peace & Thanks again
