Honda makes hands down the best quads, but still should be making sport quads. Its nice to see these being made here in the US unlike the dirt bikes that are made in china. I wonder if they break-in the motor with heat cycles before doing those tests

Yea but then in 2017 you handed out a letter stating that you were leaving the sport quad market and race teams. I love my 22 Honda Foreman 520 Camo I use it almost every day. Got 1,077 miles now. Hope they will up date the display and add new features for the new atvs. Can't beat honda for durability and longevity. Plus out of all the atvs, honda has the best look.

whats the point of comparing it to a bike? You should compare it to another quad. Plus this quad isn't anthing high end. Same goes for bikes. Not all all bikes make 80 to 105 HP.

Does anyone know for absolute certain that the engines need to be operated a certain way during what is referred to as the break in period ? No where in the owners manual does it mention it, only the first scheduled maintenance, etc. Nothing is provided to the customer about a break in period to my knowledge, and watching the video seems to suggest that the engines are already broken in. . . . UPDATE on page 260 of 2025 HONDA Rancher FM1 it has a relatively short, but two paragraphs of what is advised as the Breaking Guide. Avoid Full throttle starts, rapid acceleration, prolonged idles for the first day of riding or the first 15 miles that’s it.

Honda's are actually the least "powerful" ATV's, they all produce roughly 60-70% the hp and torque of equivalent engines from their competitors. They are however the most reliable.
