You know that feeling when you hear a song for the first time? the goosebumps setting in, feelings that you've burried deep inside, uncontrollably crawling their way back to the surface. And that's when it hits you, this is the song that's gotta be played at your funeral, this is the song you want to echo through the churchwalls, the sound to fade away in the crown of the trees when your family and friends grant you their final goodbye.. And you keep that song close to your heart for the rest of your life, you carry it with you. Knowing that when this song is played at the very last moment of your existence , you feel a slight second of relief and peace, when thinking about your death. This is mine..

I’m turning 22 this year and this song has always been a favorite of mine from such a young age because of my mom. When I hit freshmen year of high school, I started discovering all of these old hits from my childhood and ventured out into more than just what I heard growing up. Dove DEEP into bands such as The Fray, Kings of Leon, The Killers, etc. This band and their songs will forever be part of why I have the music taste I do today and why I’m very secure with the things I feel because of bands like these that turn emotions into beautiful art.

You Found Me The Fray Lyrics I found God on the corner of First in Amistad Where the west was all but won All alone Smoking his last cigarette I said where you been? He said, ask anything Where were you When everything was falling apart? All my days Spent by the telephone That never rang And all I needed was a call That never came From the corner of First and Amistad Lost and insecure You found me, you found me Lying on the floor Surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you, where were you? Just a little late You found me, you found me In the end Everyone ends up alone Losing her The only one who's ever known Who I am, who I'm not, and who I wanna be No way to know How long she will be next to me Lost and insecure You found me, you found me Lying on the floor Surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you, where were you? Just a little late You found me, you found me Early morning City breaks I've been calling For years and years and years and years And you never left me no messages You never send me no letters You got some kind of nerve Taking all I want Lost and insecure You found me, you found me Lying on the floor Where were you? Where were you? Lost and insecure You found me, you found me Lying on the floor Surrounded, surrounded Why'd you have to wait? Where were you, where were you? Just a little late You found me, you found me Why'd you have to wait To find me? To find me?
