With 21, she's a part of the Cerberus squad (Vera,21,Noctis) which is a very popular squad (they're all crazy and their personality compliments the other members), also the ultimates is just a small part of the gameplay of each character (for example Gen 2 S Bianca's first ultimate changes her stance)

This game is an acquired taste. It is a hidden gem. So I'm glad when new players hop in. I'm all in for your journey. I also started in HI3 first before giving PGR a try and finally deciding to ditch HI3 for it. Keep an eye on Gen 1 and Gen 2 units. Gen 2 characters go berserk while Gen 1 are more simple.

I'm interested in making the physical team with bianca aby, rosetta and liv lumi. I think bianca is coming in couple days right? And then i'll replace liv with someone else i forgot the name of next year. So atm i'm saving all my black cards :D

@@Jakazin That's the team that I'm planning to build to! And yeah, Bianca will come this September after Noan's patch. The amplifier that may replace Liv is Echo if I'm not mistaken and I think she will be free like Selena Cappriccio. Great thing about global being behind is that we could plan ahead. 😂

You can very clearly tell which ones are the 2nd Gen versions of each character. Kuro definitely stepped up their game in these three years. Like the first characters were cool, but you had no IDEA how much more insane they would be a few years later xD

When it comes to grades, B is the lowest, A is the mediocre, and S are the highest grade. Each constructs have their different frames. Like Lucia, Liv and Karenina. Lucia are commonly an attack type, Liv are supports and Amplifier.

Damn, why have I not seen this earlier, welcome to PGR! A lot of PGR characters aren't defined by their signature moves but by their core passives instead, even some of the signature moves are tied up to their core passives, so signature moves showcase can totally feel underwhelming for some characters that need their full kit to work haha. Like some comments have said, character gameplay showcase is way better, although it can be a bit confusing with how fast and flashy the game feels 😁

You don't know how much I am with you in the fact that videos showcasing character ultimate abilities should demonstrate the combos if a character ultimate is an enhanced mode or an area of affect field, that way you can better understand how useful they would be in general as you would see if the field moves with them, if the effects remain even if you switch character and so on. The most infuriating part is that this video did show attacks for Camu's ultimate but not for the rest.

5:15 When you use Karenina's ult you need to pair it with her signature move (as you can see the 3 marks at the bottom of the screen) to feel more impactful.

There are new characters like Lamia and Black Rock Shooter that havent been showcased in this vid and their ult are realy cool. My favorite one is probably Lee Hyperreal

The reason why some Ultimate look so underwhelming compared to others is because every character in this game plays different to the others so for the sake of variety some character's ultimate are designed to be buffs or a switch of move set instead of being a big burst of damage. The most recent S characters like the goth Bianca and alpha crimson weave have their ultimate do both, the first activation of the ultimate switches their toolkit and the second activation performs a burst attack. Further in, in this game there is something called "core pasive" which is basically a special trait that defines how a character behaves uniquely compared to the others, most of the characters you saw that have an underwhelming looking ultimate have a spectacular core passive. for instance Vera, the red hair girl that creates an aura with her ultimate performs as her core passive a very flashy combo. The best example would be the first two Lucias you saw, at the beginning of the video, B Lucia has a core passive that buffs her when triggered and then she has a flashy ultimate, while A Lucia has an ultimate that Buffs her and a core passive that make all her attacks more visually stunning (and strong) while she is buffed. finally, some S character that seem to have a very quick ultimate is because earlier in the service of the game the stage timer would keep running even when a character is performing their ultimate, so having a long cinematic ultimate would make them a worse dps. the developers eventually realized that was a bummer so from a while ago all newly released characters would stop the stage timer while doing their ultimate, that way they can have high dps while still providing cool cinematic cutscenes
