TINECO S7 PRO - Does $800 buy the best WET DRY VAC?

I have the S7 Pro. I bought mine 5 months ago. At first it was great. I now spend more time emptying the dirty water tank than cleaning! I contacted Tineco, no help. I use self cleaning all the time, check the roller, make sure no debris blocking intake, wipe inside the cover, rinse the filter. It won't start, empty DWT, even though there's only 1-2 INCHES of water! I empty that, do all the checks again. It runs 5 secs then stops, empty DWT! I've never had the DWT ever get near full before it stops too. I only use Tineco solution. Before I bought this, I went thru 3 Hoovers, a Bissel. Those just don't last. Too expensive to fix. Have you run into this problem? I have porcelain tile floors and hardwood. I appreciate your time.

Also had the same issue with S7 pro and S6. Everything perfect for the first few months, but after the 3rd-4th month I noticed it keeps asking to empty the dirty water tank even though it's still not even half full. It get worse now because I just cleaned it this morning and tonight when I start it up, it straight up asking me to empty it again when i haven't even used it...

this was a comment I read somewhere else on another video "You can remove the sensor! Where the filter goes, unscrew that and take out the large long metal SINGLE piece... not the double one). Put it back together and bam, just empty when your clean water tank alerts you that it's empty."

I just got the S5 Extreme, which has the suction option, and it would’ve cost me double to get an S7… for self-propulsion and 5 minutes extra battery life, the S7 made ZERO sense to purchase. Self-propulsion? Really? That’s only useful when cutting my grass lol😂

Wouldn't a normal person actually wipe up the oatmeal mess with a paper towel first though? I know I would. I might follow up with the wet-dry Vac, but I wouldn't just hit that mess straight up.

@@swampy1234 would you rather clean the oatmeal out of the vacuum, the tank, the roller, all the crevices it will find its way into, or just wipe it off the floor with a paper towel or some napkins. I'm pretty sure cleaning oatmeal out of a vacuum cleaner is a lot more work than cleaning it off of a wood floor.

Great Review!! I am deciding to buy Tineco Floor ONE S7 PRO or Tineco FLOOR ONE S5 Steam Cleaner. I really like to see a cleaning comparison between those two and other stuff. Which one do you recommend and does a better cleaning? Also the place I live has hard water would you recommend using distilled water or tap water because of that? Thank you very much again

Hi! Hard water - The S7 Pro will be better if very hard water. Tineco S5 Steam is better for deep grout, lots of food, disinfecting areas and more reliable because its corded. The s7 Pro is better for vinyl floors, laminate that is sensitive to heat, marble, bathroom tile. I think the s5 steam is better value because steam is a HUGE bonus. I will do a comparison between the 2 in the future but I think go with what your budget is. If you have budget for an s5 steam but want cordless, the s5 is very close to the s7.

I think tineco is no longer making it. it's not even for sale on their site. I think it was taking sales from their S7 line up. It's imo the best of the line up. You get all the good shit from the S7 at a cheaper price point.

hi! only light low pile rugs and I wouldn't really use except as a last resort or to fluff up a rug. The Bissell crosswave corded (NOT CORDLESS) makes a better vacuum for low pile carpet because the brushroll has stiffer bristles and the dirty water tank has a catch for debris.

The S7 looks nice but looks like it would be more prone to having something breakdown due to it having all of those extra features. I don't think the S7 is worth its higher price.

Hi! It depends on your budget but the s7 pro is the best of the best for cordless wet dry vacs, s5 steam corded is my favorite corded, and the bissell crosswave pet pro is great if you have low pile rugs + hard floor around $200 on sale.

hi! I would opt for the S7 Pro because its cordless for you. I lived in a apt my whole life and the S7 will be more than enough wet dry vac and you might only need a robot vac automated to vacuum and the s7 to clean floors. Love the S7 steam but its better for more dogs/pets or bigger homes.

My S7 Pro worked great for a few months ,and then it stopped working ,it is stuck on please check the brush roller and it will not work I have replace the roller and cleaned all around and nothing. Because I brought from Godfrey's and they have gone bust.I am stuck with a broken expensive floor cleaner .Tineco offered advice but can't help.

hi! this should be a warranty issue. Did you reach out to Tineco about a replacement? Even if you bought it from a retailer, if you have proof of purchase, you can get it replaced.

Tineco is a mess , there is also a s5 pro that has the fancy LCD screen and there is also a s5 extreme with a suction mode and no fancy screen Too many versions of the s5

Hi, I'm not seeing anything about the electrolyzed water with this machine on reviews. Do you know anything about that? I called Tineco, but the person I spoke with wasn't helpful in that regard. Also, I like the idea of the Tineco S5 Steam mop (that it's corded,) but the reviews on Amazon (11% one star reviews) are pretty negative - which makes me really hesitant to purchase one. @@jeniferjoseph9200 so our floors aren't dirty in the least, but there's an area near the front door that was dusty because of shoes. And the S7 just doesn't clean it the way I think a $900 vac should. So yes it'll get up food spilled in the moment, but when stains that have dried it doesn't do a great job. Also the auto rolling feature, what I've noticed is that sometimes when I pulling it backwards or it's rolling on its own, it wants to continue going backwards when I'm ready to go fwd again

@@tripledair these mop/vacuums aren’t meant for deep cleanings. I recommend spraying the area with your favorite all purpose solution, waiting a good 10 mins and then going over it with the Tineco.
