[TRIPREPORT] Go-around! | Manchester - Lanzarote | Ryanair UK 737-800

An interesting first flight with Ryanair UK from Manchester to Lanzarote!
Some low cloud and poor visibility in Lanzarote made for a difficult VOR approach to runway 21, which is already complicated by high terrain and often strong winds.
Sorry about the focus issues on the takeoff roll, the rain on the window made it difficult for me!

Great Trip Report! Runway 21 is very rarely used at ACE due to the limited approach aids and the terrain to the north of the airfield. I haven’t been in ACE in years. Need to get back again soon! ✈️

The last time I flew to ACE in 2013 we landed runway 21 it was from LGW with easyJet on an a320
