Thank you for dropping more vlogs. Love hearing about you, Braxton, and the boys. They have come so far and that is due to you, Braxton, y’all’s family, and medical professionals. Mostly you two. Girl, you are amazing!!!! Up on everything and I bet you could do circles around NICU nurses. Also, in this video and the last you seem as if you are in a better mental place. I’m so happy for you and wish Braxton the same too. He is also amazing!!! He knows how to take care of his boys. He’s not afraid to jump in when needed. I’m so proud of both of you! Amazing powerhouse couple y’all are. It’s very apparent because Croix, Daxton, and Ezra are the happiest and sweetest kids. Keep those blogs coming. I love y’all’s channel and will continue to watch them. I’m sending hugs, love, and prayers y’all’s way. ❤

I have twins and having individual relationships with them is so important. It was especially so when they were little and as you said they were always ‘the twins’. Like, just taking one of the boys at a time to the store or on a walk. You have your priorities straight. Healthy and happy mom means healthier and happier kids.

I have four boys, the youngest was the easiest potty trainer EVER. He was verbal, reasonable, and aware of his body. He turned 2 in the end of October, and I decided February vacation was the time to try to train him. I legit told him that the store ran out of diapers, so he was going to have to wear undies and go on the potty like brothers and mom and dad. He amazingly went with it, and trained himself that day, pee and poop, and even overnight. This was after my other 3 were all well over 4 before they were fully trained. I think God knew after the first three that I needed a break! 😂❤ Good luck!

Thank you for this. I have a 3 year old half potty trained daughter (pees in the potty all day long but can’t bring herself to poop in it?) this gave me hope. I’ve heard many people talk about his being a hiccup that just works itself out with time, but I love hearing mom’s personal stories. It makes me feel less alone with these obstacles.

That's pretty much how it went for my daughter as well... I just told her we were all done with diapers after the last one in the pack was gone. I don't ever remember her having an accident. She did wear pull ups at night for awhile but I was good with that. My son basically trained himself with the help of his older cousin. When I started teaching preschool I was shocked to see children really struggling to be potty trained. I think it's a out waiting until YOUR child is ready and then just jumping in full on. Straight from diaper to underwear.

Aubrey, thank you so much for taking the time to film these videos! I look forward to all of your new posts; I thoroughly enjoy learning new things about you and your precious family. This might seem random, but you are very interesting to listen too. You have a natural gift for storytelling which makes all of your videos even more intriguing/exciting. Anyways, I hope you, Braxton, and all of the boys will receive many blessings this year! You are such a sweet family😊 I will keep you all in my prayers❤

You're a great mom and your boys are adorable. I can't imagine how anyone can comment on the quality of Ezrah's life. He always looks happy. It broke my heart for you an him when he couldn't come home. Apparently, he had excellent care and love while hospitalized, otherwise he would show some signs of emotional issues. These commenters on his quality of life, even if his quality of life was compromised, which it is not, what would you suggest? You are doing a great job. Take some time to yourself when you feel like you're losing it. Your boys are amazing!

I just can't get over how absolutely adorable the boys are!!! I loved the question/answer session you just did...it helps getting to know the boys personalities better. You seem like such a great mom & the boys are lucky to have you as their mom. It's going to be so much fun for you, raising them...they already sound like such little independent people!! Anyway, I'm wishing you a late Happy Mother's day!! Until next time, sending you all love! 💙💙💙

For potty training first off u need 3-4 days where u don’t have to do anything and he has ur attention. No diapers or pull-ups just big boy underwear so he can feel when he has an accident. Also very important is to fill him up with liquids so his bladder is full. Need to have a kids toilet seat that goes on the regular toilet. Stairs for him to get on the toilet and handles so they feel safe and don’t have to worry bout falling in the toilet. Have a timer set to go potty every hour and only sit on the Toilet 1-3 minutes if he doesn’t go try again later. But always keep his bladder full so a ton of liquids.

You are amazing! I know you expend a lot of energy holding everything together. And, it's a heavy load, for sure! I hear your brilliant mind and as a career RN, I realize your skill level. Be sure to keep looking in the future. Making plans for YOU. Part of your healing journey must include blowing off stress in constructive ways. I personally threw a lot of rocks when I couldn't afford therapy😂😂😂

All I can say is don’t rush the potty training thing. I tried because a doctor told me my daughter was ready and showing all the signs to go ahead and start. But she just wasn’t emotionally ready yet, and she’s still figuring it out a year and a half later. Potty training was 10 times more stressful than I anticipated it would be. My child is highly sensitive, and as a bit of a free spirited person myself, it’s been hard for me to gauge what’s going to work best for her. I’d say give it a try if you feel it’s right, but if your child or you ever feel like it’s stressing you out at all, take a step back and try again in a few weeks or a few months. It will feel like you’re giving up, but I swear it’s not. We’ve had to do that a couple times, and every time we revisit it, it all comes together so much more organically with a lot less stress! Good luck with trying and know if you ever have any potty training issues, know you absolutely ARE NOT alone! 😂

When you talk about your mental health, it reminds me of mine. I've had good success with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). What therapy types do you use for skills?

Oh btw it us very common for kids under the age of 3 to only play by themselves. They are the center of their universe and really dont notice other kids.. it really changes when they are 3/4 yo and start going to preschool. If you want, try reading a book on child develoment... its so interesting..

I only have one boy. He was so easy to potty train. We spent 2 months living with 2 of his cousins. They were 2 years older. He just followed them and copied them. Possibly one will teach the other two.

I hate we didn't get the look at the tattoo and the pics you referenced at the bday party! I love seeing other's tattoos and hearing/knowing the stories behind them and their meaning to the person! I can't even imagine how busy and hard it must have been to plan and execute a bday party of your liking for all of them on top of the daily grind of life with your 3 lovely and medically needy boys! You are both doing good by finding ways to better yourselves so you can be the best version of yourself for the boys and for each other!

I totally see where you’re coming from about them maybe not being identical. It will be easier to tell when they are older, but right now I think Croix and Daxton look as similar as Daxton and Ezra. You would think that it would be easier to pick out the two identical twins but if I had to guess I would have guessed wrong! Maybe it’s just a result of their very different medical journeys though, I’d be really curious to see the results

I'm a lot, lot older than you and I watch your videos and think how smart you are and how aware you are. And you ask for advice and suggestions and that is smart. I hope you give yourself grace when you make a mistake because we all do it. Don't worry about timelines because things will always happen when they are meant to. With toilet training, for my boys I started in summer and some days I would let them run outside with no diaper on. And there will always be accidents but honestly it isn't as bad as you think or as hard as you think. They pick it up quickly, obviously night times they will need a diaper for a while, especially if they are deep sleepers. But even that don't stress. For me, my first one hated the little potty so I just had a step to climb up to the normal toilet with a child seat, but you might have a child who finds that intimidating. It's just about finding out what they are comfortable with and making it relaxed. Good luck.

My son was so smart, etc.. but he refused to go in the bathroom and sit on the potty... ge was legit scared of it.. we would try every few months, etc.. but i never made any progress wuth him.. one day when he was nearly 3 1/2 yo, he walked downstairs in the morning, said "I have to pee" and walked into the bathroom and boom he was potty trained that day.. he wore a pull up at night fo r a few months just in case.. but it was alwayz dry.. so he potty-trained himself in one day... He never had any accidents.
