linda b the school system and the media are intentionally designed to paint Africa very badly, poor, and dirty. You have to go yourself. The media and the school system is all lies to keep y’all away ( separating black people) They fear the coming together of black people so they start to plant false images in your heads in schools.

It is refreshing to see people understanding how things are in Africa especially Ghana. People needs to go out there and experience things themselves. The media will never show you this. Because it undercuts their efforts to solicit money for the poor, which never get to the intended targets. People don’t live in a shithole. Someone might not have everything in life but people are responsible , courteous, clean and respectful.

Just a few weeks ago I watched some of Mark Wein's video he did on different food dishes in Ghana. Look out for Banku made from fermented corn and cassava dough cooked in water into a consistent whitish paste served with okra soup. stew or pepper sauce with fish. Looking forward to the series, and maybe we get to see some local food.
