I’m so glad you did this video. I’m fairly new and have constant deadlines as I am studying at a university and sometimes I just need to know how to do something not look at a finished project that I’m not going to do and you just put everything into this one video and explained it so well you have my undying gratitude.❤

This video is AWESOME!!! Thank you! I just purchased a Mac mini pro, new monitor, and fusion 360 for my businesses. Your channel is helping me the most. 🤙

This tutorial, in particular, has opened my eyes to the possibilities of creating in Fusion 360 so far. Thank you for giving it to us free! This has been a better tutorial than one I actually paid money for.

The previous videos were more compelling to complete as they focused on a finished project. But I know this is good practice. Videos much appreciated.

After many other tutorials, inc the first videos of these series- this is the clearest and most useful! Thanks

Love your teaching style. Coming from Sketchup (I learned that from you too), you make the software comprehensible quickly. For example, I did not understand the concept that Fusion is mostly a solid modeler, and how that works, until you spelled it out with very practical examples. Great work my friend!

Hi Justin, thank you sooo much for the effort you put into making the information so digestible. I watched another tutorial on youtube and I was totally overwhelmed and almost gave up on learning further. So happy to have stumbled onto your channel. Hope your channel explodes and that you have an awesome day and year!👍😁🎉

Another outstanding video from Justin that I have saved as a go-to reference and have frequently watched. I am a rookie still with skills at about a 3 on a 1 to 10 scale. Justin's videos have easily taken me to a 3 from a 1, and I cannot wait for that needle to move when I watch his more advanced offerings. I am designing my irrigation and landscaping in our back yard and this has helped SO MUCH with getting an actual visual of what I need to do. I also use Fusion for designing 3D printed parts, and soon, wood working projects. Thank you Justin!! Your videos are a real blessing!!👍👍👍

I have a CNC Plasma cutter. I was wondering if I can draw out and object and flatten it with fusion 360. I would put relief cut to help identify the bend points. Such as a bumper or fire pit.

good tutorials, thanks. However, you seem to have your views set up with Z down, instead of up. How do I set up my free version to match the orientation you are using?

Im having trouble with sketches not becoming closed when completing a polygon. usually a sketch becomes light blue and able to select when complete but its staying clear for me. A video with issues like this and other beginning lessons would be great. Thanks

Hi, thanx for your video, is very interesting. I'd like to ask you how to find the middle in una flat surface. I'd like to cut material exactly in the middle of one vertical surface from left to right. i did the sketch but i don't know how to put in the middle. I have to find and put one line? i don't like this way. Thx

I don’t know if it’s any faster, but when I need to sketch something on a plane in the middle of a cylinder, I create two tangent planes on both sides of the cylinder, then create a midplane between them.

Great video. Can anyone tell me a quick way to extrude a rectangle to cut the inverse of another model with some complex shapes? Want to basically create a cradle for a part by doing this. Any suggestions?

I am trying to create a duct having a parallelogram profile at one end and a circular profile at the other. I linked the central axis of both with a straight line - acting as the rail. I wanted the finished part to be hollow with a 5 mm thick wall all along the model. All I can get from the loft tool is a completely solid body. Is it not possible to use the loft tool in this way or am I missing something ? If anyone has any suggestions I would be pleased to hear from them.

messing around with the numbers after finishing the shelf in fusion and the shelf does some weird stuff when you add some numbers in, like the sides of the shelf will separate. Then its just the shelves, or its one wall and the shelves. not sure why it does this.

Your videos have been super helpful! Just one question, ive been trying to make a X-pipe in fusion. It's basically 2 slightly bent pipes connected by the outer sides (they share their volumes basically) if u get what i mean. Would it be something that you could do for a video?

I have yet to buy Fusion 360. I had the company send tutorials made by Fusion for me to understand. OMGoodness, what a mess. They use terms that make no sense; the understanding is beyond the person who has no experience with the software. Contact them and see if they will pay you to do tutorials. Also, I need CNC cutting, 3D printing, and dividing an extruded layer into two halves, top and bottom, for routing conveyance tubes for raceways in a 1.5" board. Great job so far!

These arnt bad but you're still just doing actions and selecting options with out actually explaining where to find them, it makes your 18 minute lesson in to 45 minutes of skipping back to see what your doing so I cam do it to follow. Also you entirely skipped making the curved line using the loft, the video jumps from not there to there and your still explaining as if this is a refresher for people who know and not a beginners tutorial
