The secret is actually creating then opening fresh packs. I got 95 Ruben Dias from an 85+ player pick and 93 Rio Ferdinand from some other pack. I think they code old packs not to contain new cards.

The CB evo path has to be fluid because not everyone will be able to earn the other evos unless EA are going to make it super easy to do so. If the defensive evo gives the anticipate plus and the passing evo gives the pinged pass plus and the player you choose already has a ps plus I would do the defensive one first and then the passing one to have 2 defensive ps plusses. But for sure the player you put in will be the only player you can use the rest of the evos on.

Im already full in on my Evo Lenny Yoro, he is 88 pace, 87 defending, 87 physical with 99 short passing, 99 reactions, 93 composure and 88 ball control, got block+, bruiser, slide tackle, tika taka, long ball and power header with defender ++ and deep lying ++ hes going to be insane if he can evo through all of the ones that get released.

I have Militao's 87 Evo with Defender++, who has almost the exact same PlayStyles as his 1.5 MIL+ NU card, that only has Defender+, since the only difference is that he has Slide Tackle instead of Bruiser after putting him into Defensive Dynamo before Aerial Dominance along with EOAE Varane, Heroic Rise King, TS KMJ, WW Guehi, Saliba and 6'9" Isak Toure's Rising Star 87 Evo all as my best options for the TOTY Evo Star chain so I'm going to wait because if Varane or KMJ are certain of getting Pinged Pass+ for example, and don't get Anticipate+, then I'm likely putting either Saliba or Heroic Rise King, who links himself and is only missing Intercept, into it, that is unless he doesn't get Aerial and Varane gets Defender++, so for me it's a waiting game, especially with KMJ's links moving forward, although he looks amazing if you're sure you will will be running a Bundesliga team for the next few months, which I'm not right now, so I'm going to wait an see what cards I pack first before committing to the Cb Evo next week instead ❤️✌️.

Probably the best time to open packs now is right at the beginning with attacks because you can EVO a CB to a TOTY stats and not desperate need a new CB then.

The best time to buy a TOTY or high profile player has usually been the Friday that the Attacker's leave packs, however with TOTY Palmer being a midfielder and him being who I want as much as anyone with the 5 mil and 300 packs I have saved up I now have absolutely no idea on when I want to open packs or look to buy players tbh, although Tom-Fri is your safest bet as long as all of the week 1 Icons are in packs tom and not on Friday imho.
