The IG-88 prop from Empire was built by one guy, and that guy says it was 8'0". I know this is some Mandalorian thing, but if someone is looking to mod it into IG-88, this is still too small. Probably the closest we'll ever get, though.

Thing with IG-88’s height is that shot is never on screen, we weren't ever intended to know he was a step down behind the others. The actual prop didn't have feet, it was very heavy being made of scrap metal and had a wooden 2x4 base. So it was moved back behind the others for filming. But those are behind the scenes pictures, that's why I'm in the boat he's not quite as tell as this figure is.

When "No disintegrations" happens you can see that IG is a bit back from Fett, and the door in the background is clearly down a bit. There had to be stairs there to get down to that door, whether shown or not. Plus when we first see the bounty hunter scene there are two Gunners behind Dengar that also look a step down, also shown in the behind the scenes pic.

Wow really Bandai!? Those hips! It would be so easy to fix and have incredible range if they'd just tried pretty much ANYthing. If this was a Black Series or something, ey fine, it's good enough, but on such an expensive figure that's not good enough, they're capable of SO much more. Just to be clear no problem with anyone liking it or anything, it does look great and that range is good enough, just would have been so easy to increase the range and get it able to sit more naturally on the speeder bike etc.

It's a shame that this is an exclusive because if this was a regular cheaper release, I would definitely get this. I am usually not the biggest fan when it comes to SHF as I often find their weathering and head sculpts to be lackluster for the price, but this may well be the best Star Wars figure they have ever released.

I like that tamashii didn't do the windowless box for this figure like most exclusive starwars figures are, I hope that's gonna be a thing going toward for future exclusive. This figure looks like it came out pretty good, but I am worried that because of the joints look thin it might not be a durable figure.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS FIGURE!!!! I’ve had one on pre-order with BBTS for months and hopefully will ship soon, as I’m drooling for this droid now Robo!!! He looks amazing, and once again I just have to ask: How did Hasbro eff their version up so bad? I mean it’s embarrassing! I swear they did something stupid like reduced the scale so IG would fit in the Black Series box or something stupid like that, because either the sculptor wasnt a fan who didn’t know a thing about IG-88 and couldn’t be bothered to check or you know, ASK A FAN WHO KNOWS, or they just got freaking lazy (“what shape is that thing’s head? I dont have a 3-D drawing shape like that, so I’ll just make it a cylinder, those stupid geeks wont notice. Oh and reduce his size about 25-30% so it fits in a standard box.”). I can get myself psychotically angry fantasizing the reason why R2-D2 and IG-88 and 11are such dull underscaled WRONG POS’s in Hasbro’s line, but then I just look at the beautiful works of art that are SH Figuarts and it sets my crazy action figure obsessed mind at ease. Ahhhhh....pretty IG Droid! :-) Okay, off to take my meds! :-)

Not for the bandolier, it's tight but you can slip it over the head, but you have to take the head off for the satchel. Loop is too tight.

Seriously though, ever since the pandemic started, when I order the regular “snail mail” shipping, they upgrade me to DHL FREE! I’ve been taking advantage of it! If you order from Kurama Toys, they will HOLD your order until Japan Post is normal again, unless you pay to upgrade. Looks like I won’t get Loki until the pandemic is over..(I’m too stubborn to pay for ADDITIONAL shipping...)

I'm so TORN robo! I keep going back to this review because this figure is freaking fantastic but the scale! I go back to the first episode when they shot down the door and when mando and ig were standing there and and the black series is the perfect scale! Idkkkk

His size in the shows was kinda all over. In that scene you're talking about, IG is actually a bit behind Mando. Notice Mando steps up a step into the doorway before the shot changes. This may be big, but it's closer to scale than the Black Series.
