Yk i didnt mind the interchangeable eyes with the aou captain america, but i think it's safer to just keep the eyes attached to the head since with separate eyes on the aou figure there was more of a chance of the eyes being wonky. Personally, i prefer this figure. Ig i'm easily pleased, because even with the face and eye issues, i still find this figure awesome lol. Great review as always 🔥

I already have Thor on the way, could not resist and Amazon had him for a pretty good price. The Hulk....there is just something about him that bugs me. Like it's more comic book than movie. Nothing wrong with comic book, but I want to build a movie display. The figma Hulk looks more what I'm wanting. I actually have a video idea ranting about that, should get to that soon.

I was bummed when the stand wasn't included, especially after the instructions showed how the shield can be mounted on one for throwing poses. So sweet! But now I gotta order one. Or two, I guess, another for Iron Man. Bandai is expensive to collect! And thanks, I will definitely try.

You need to get an SH Figuarts Iron Man to pair with this Cap. I suggest getting either Mk. 43, Mk 45, or the Mk 46.

I had a similar situation. I got a Ellen Ripley figure at comic Con and 2 days later I got Big Chap, Hicks/Xeno 2 pack and Hudson. No regrets.

That gets me every time! I started Masters of the Universe thinking "I'll just get He-Man, but gotta have Skeletor for a pair, that's it. But Skeletor needs Beast Man. Wait, now the sides are uneven. Man-at-Arms it is. But he needs Teela" You can probably guess where that went. Yeah, I've got nearly all of them. Same with Transformers.

i had a feeling u would love this figure, i got the last one which is the same minus the extra head sculpt and the first one the head split and it had different eyes to put in, im team iron man but the sh cap is one of my favorite figures, i'd rather have cool toys to lol

I've actually heard from another guy who has the AOU Cap and it's a completely different sculpt besides the crotch piece. I don't know, I missed on that one, but I think I can call this one good and my only one, at least until the next movie. And heck yeah, toys up around our ears, haha!

Definitely better than the Marvel legends release of Captain America. Although, I prefer the Age of Ultron Captain America from s.h. figuarts.

treyvus breland If you catch the pre-orders these figures usually cost around $50 before overseas shipping, which puts it about in that $70 range. High quality import figures aren't cheap. But they are awesome...

Just as a side note, bandai forgot to paint the arm cuffs brown just like his gloves. A lot of reviewers missed that on their first unboxing

Hmmm, interesting, there is a cuff there. If it were brown it would make the glove look really long because of the joint. Maybe? I'm sure you're right, I'm just looking at it and thinking it wouldn't look right in brown. Of course, now I'm used to it in blue so I can't trust myself at this point. In fact, just checked, you're completely right. Now it does look wrong to me because the glove is supposed to be long and brown. Hrm. Still an awesome figure though.

The only problem I have with this figure is that the shield should have a laser cut pattern within the star portion on the shield. That pattern is absent on the shield that comes with this figure. it's weird that the shield that comes with this figure lacks the laser cut pattern..because the previous aou figure that bandai made had that detail.

It is weird, now that you point it out. I just Googled a bunch of images and in most shots the etching isn't obvious, nearly invisible, in most of the shots from the movie. It's not until you get in super close that you can kinda see it. It's definitely not as obvious as previous movies. And no, you will not get me to go back and buy the AOU Cap. You will not. I won't. Dang it.

I think Bandai knows they need to make a Spidey, we all say it enough that they can't not know. There may be some kind of licensing issue though? Or Marvel kept the Spidey thing under wraps well enough that a company like Bandai didn't want to half-ass a figure, wanting to wait until they could get a full good look at it before starting. Or at least that's what I hope, we totally need a Figuarts CW Spidey. I haven't messed with any moving eyes at this scale but I did order Thor after realizing this Cap rules. It looks like Thor has the changeable eyes so I'm tingly thinking about messing with those.
