Keep it up guys. I'm so pleased to see new episodes coming out. I've had a serious lung infection the past month and this is all I've wanted to watch because it can be counted on to help me relax and laugh every episode. It's an aquired taste like a cult classic movie. I loved it from the get-go, but it has really built momentum with it's catalogue of inside jokes, faces, etc. I end up chain watching old eps. and next thing I know, it's 3:17 a.m. I always let the ads play through the full ad because (I believe) it helps you guys more, from my understanding of how youtube and Adsense works. A while back I sold all my childhood systems and games in a Judas-like fashion for a mere 30 sheckles of silver, well, like $400 or so I think, at a retro game store here in Maryland called Cartridges Galore. I was in a bind, renting my first house and so on. Soon after that, I got into the show and it always makes me feel better. I think Billy has a similar story, so I can relate. I know one day I will be in a better position and regain my collection. Anyways...MUCH appreciation for your show. I look forward to more new episodes on a level equal with Game of Thrones...A new Tool Album...Tax return checks...what have you. - James

An X'EYE. Be still my racing ticker. Such a cool piece of hardware. I always loved the form factor, and combining the Genesis/MD and CD components into one unit was always a more reasonable solution than the peripheral add-on that most people had. I'm envious-- but in a good way. The struggle is definitely real when it comes to haggling/negotiating with friends who are resellers or who own their own stores. It's a fine line sometimes between negotiating and insulting, and you certainly don't want to hurt any rapport or good will that you've built up over time. That said, I was really happy to see how things worked out for you. I say it a lot, but it bears repeating: Thank you-- all of you-- for what you do. You make me laugh, you make me cheer, and I'm always excited when you put up anything new. You've been one of my forces of inspiration in many ways since I dedicated myself to creating retro-related content. Have safe travels to your upcoming conventions!

A new episode of Game Chasers, this is how to start a Monday morning should start. Guess i'll have to sit and binge watch all the episodes again.
@RockHarding8 жыл бұрын
someone needs to make a Metal Gear-esque Game Chasers video game. You'd play as Billy or Jay and use stealth techniques to catch the other Game Chaser slipping. In this episode, Billy sneaks off to the back room without Jay to look for games. But when he moves that big box of games, he ends up knocking over a stack of games and alerting Jay to his shenanigans. That's an example of what the game would be like.

Good find on the jvc x eye. I found mine about 12 years ago at a local movie rental shop here in my town. I paid $8 for it because they didn't know what it was. It was the unit only and needed a power cord and an rca cord. I had a rca so I needed a power cord, I looked all over the place for a cord that would fit and have the right voltage... eventually I had to go to radioshack and make a cord for it which cost about $16 at the time. It was worth it!

Speaking as an equally voracious collector who knows what he's looking at, when looking at it; its genuinely quite astounding to me that you guys found an Australian HES cartridge in the US, considering these were manufactured in limited quantities for the AU market alone & nowdays are collector items inside the AU. Do these EVER actually show up outside of Oz??
