Most people who have played Dragon Ball Kakarot on switch says that actually holds up very well on the Nintendo switch. They even had comparison videos and that times you really couldn't tell which one was to switch except for certain polygons even then it's still pretty good considering that it is even on the switch in the first place. Same difference when it comes to doom. Most people praise how well and how good it runs on the switch. You still have to consider that the switch is a portable device first and foremost. Yes I want to switch to be more powerful but stop pretending like that it doesn't have potential to make current games steel decent enough for a portable device.

I'm old enough to remember when Rockstar was literally just GTA, and nothing else. I also remember when they announced the first Red Dead Redemption, and it lit the gaming world on fire. But when they announced GTA Online, I knew what was coming. Rockstar has become just like Valve, they don't make games anymore because they don't have to, people throw money at them all the time through their online services, without so much as a second thought.

If we're using an Pokemon analogy, rather than this defenitive edition being the Omega Ruby of remakes where its remade in the current engine rockstar uses from RDR2 or GTA5, this upcoming defenitive trilogy will be similar to Shining Pearl as in it'll retain the overall look and feel of the originals, but just have more geometry, updated textures and is well polished.

How you know it isnt like how they did mass effect 1.. we havent even seen anything yet. It being on switch and mobile could be like how saints row 3 remastered was on switch or how fortnite is on mobile, just a downgraded version of what we'll get on console and pc. Just being optimistic. Rockstar formed a new division at rockstar called Rockstar Dundee to remaster these games, so it's a dedicated team who worked on it. That team had their hands in the master chief collection.

They’re removing the digital ones in store because the combined price will be cheaper than these remasters. They’ll also charge you premium prices and make up some bs about how much “work” went into them. There isn’t any when the blueprint is already there, it will be a copy and paste with slight enhancements. Maybe they’ll give gta 3 a minimap.

To be honest, I don’t really get why you are disappointed or expected more. A full remake of the old games with 2021 AAA title standards? We would all love that but let’s be real, that was never going to happen. This will be a mild upgrade likely priced at full 2021 retail figures and you know what? So many people will buy it. I don’t have particularly high hopes but I will look at the reviews and gameplay footage after the game comes out and consider buying only if it looks good. To be fair we haven’t seen the gameplay yet. However the article, lack of concrete release date, inclusion of a mobile version and lack of gameplay footage is seriously making this look like a cash grab move.

Graphics will look slightly better. Polished graphics from the PS2 era. I wonder how the controls will be. Will the port it from mobile version of the original release and just tweak it a bit or will consoles, PC and mobile will have their own assets where the controls are made specifically for each platform nothing is ported from one another. I do hope it goes above my expectations and I doubt it will but will watch gameplay before deciding to buy it.

I've never played the GTAIII, San Andreas, or Vice City, but I have played GTAV, which I was not really a fan of tbh. That being said, I'm just gonna wait to see gameplay. If the game has little to no gameplay and graphical enhancements, then I might as well just play the PS2 versions which I already have installed on my PS4.

Those are the PS2 versions through emulators, so they're constantly dropping in fps down to about 15fps. The remaster will most certainly be keeping a minimum of a stable 30fps on PS4.

we spent a whole generation with no real new gta game unless you count the Ps4 version? ths rumors said we could get a red dead Redemption remaster so that could be cool? idk the rumor was this was a bonus for gta v on ps5 seems it was true.

They should focus on bringing new expansions that expands both RDR2 and GTA5 in which gta gets new areas that consist of San Fiero, Central Valley California, San Diego, and tall trees with also a new story. And RDR2 should bring in the cut content of both Arthur and Ally's relationship and make us play as her aswell in a way like how gta5 did the switch a roo mechanic with their characters.
