I've had the Major IIIs for several years now. I love the sound, the form factor, and the joystick controller but hard for me to wear on ear headphones. My ears immediately get hot. They're otherwise super comfortable and have a great tuning. One of the best stock tasteful V-tunes I've found from a commercial product. But for a lot of folks the on-ear aspect will be a deal breaker. For those that want or like on-ears, they're a shockingly good series.

My 5 year old Major III's just gave out! Right on time for that premiere! Too bad they still aren't in stores in my country. I was pretty sure they would be out on 23rd of April

Thanks for the review, I’m not usually a fan of the overhead ear phones but they look nice and tidy and I love the square ear piece , and a good price as well thanks as always 😎

I've had some static noise issues when connected via Bluetooth with my Major IV's - I might get these to solve the issue. Never understood why the IV's were not supported by the Marshall app.

I have the marshall major III wired and wireless , maybe not the best headphones in the world but I love the size, sound and battery autonomy of the wireless version, I used them occasionally, I probably charge them 6 months ago 😅

Its ridiculous that they didn't update to Qi2. For this form factor, qi charging is really iffy, it doesn't stay on most stands. magnetic alignment with the qi2 standard would've made a massive difference.

I've been looking at the Marshalls for a little while. Like you said, they are an on-ear design. I have two on ears from Thinksound, the on1 and on2. Without my glasses, can wear them for hours with little issues. With, I can get about an hour before they start to really push them into my head. Not sure if these will do the same which is why I haven't gone for them.

I have mashall major 2, and its still sound great the problem last week it won't charge so I use it with a Wire...

I've recently purchased these and I'm quite impressed with the sound. I do like to use wired connection as we all know the sound quality wired is better than Bluetooth - or should be. So here's my problem. Tidal! When you connect these or any BT headphones to the Tidal app up pops a message telling you that Bluetooth compresses the sound quality . .. This is not what I'm paying for with Tidal. So I connected the very thin little supplied headphones cable - no sound!! It turns out that you have to turn the volume up full on both the headphones and your source. For me that's Sony AW45 and my Sony Xperia 10 mobile. It's the only way you can hear anything and I'm not sure that the sound quality with cable is any better.. be interested to hear what others have to say. I must admit the Bluetooth connection is actually rather pleasant to listen to. And the bass definitely there if you need it.

Cant wait for the white to make a comeback, I have major3 Bluetooth in white and love them so much, but they are unavailable and discontinued, so I’m very hopeful for the white design to make a comeback 🥹

I heard that major V had Auracast, but i can't find how to use auracast in the manual. Can you find it?

Does the headphone cable allow you to still use the microphone? Say you were connected using the 3.5mm jack, can you still use the inbuilt microphone for calls?

I love my Marshall headphones my particular ones came with a case that look like an amp but I was highly disappointed when after a year they literally went dead and I have always been the type of person who puts stuff away and make sure that it's in a secure spot where no damage Could Happen shocking it just went dead after a year but I guess it is what it is

i've had the Major 2 and the 3, which lasted for some years. i'm gonna get another Major's soon but i don't know which one's M 4 for 100€ or Major 5 for 150€.

Well if there would be premium fake version of these with same sound but lower price then I would take them but more for the looks of it. And they look the same as 4 and 3) and I have heard that sound,more fan of soundcore tunning if go solo for sound (also anc,it's often a necessary option)
