Maybe this was Richtofen's plan all along. He did say at one point that he was doing everything to reach a better world. What if he foresaw all of this and wanted to reach this world because this is the world he'd have his best go at achieving godhood

I think the fact that Panos took his body back after activating the machine and in exchange we became ghost, could be a huge answer to bringing Richtofen's family back or Samantha back and victory cannot be achieve without sacrifice so sacrifice must happen to rescue them :O Edit: I hope we will have many content in BO6 :)

I notice that they say sam instead of Samantha, it's possible that S.A.M isn't actually Samantha rather it's the AI made from her that is corrupted by the Foresaken
