I dont know what to say. I want to feel sorry for myself, mourn, grieve...but yet it feels like doing those things will be like wearing a mask. I never would have known the "why" I would have gone 101 different ways and still not reached "why". But you got to the core of "why". I have not heard or seen my grown (40+ YO) kids in over 4 years. I haven't seen my grandkids in over 4 years. I haven't been hugged in over 4 years. My kids hate me because I will not be manipulated. A bit empathic, I had been in caregiver mode for almost 2 years even before the death of my mom.
