Honestly I go to a school and one thing I learnt is that the teachers at school do not actually know how to teach you content properly so even if you don’t have a teacher I guarantee you will do far better than those students who go to skwl and actually have a teacher

10:24 isnt the probablity of the blue pen going to be (9-x)/9 in the second pick because there are 9 pens in total now so the expression for blue pen in the second take is gonna be 9-x because its out of 9 pens now???

Hey, at 23:36 or so, how do we know it is 21 and 4 rather than 28 and 3, when they both can add to -25?

-4 and -21 both at together to give -25 and multiply to give 84, but -28 and -3 dont add together to give -25 but they multiply to give 84. So we will use -4 and -21. Hope this helped

I’ve seen ‘predicted papers’ where not a single topic matched the actual GCSE and a lot of students came out very upset! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hello, I’m unsure why you have to cross multiply for these questions? I figured that if we are trying to get the equations to = 0, I thought you have to do it the same way you’d do an algebraic fraction: cross multiply and get the same denominator by timsing both denominators.

he didn't. The total number of socks is 11. So when he found out there are 6 black socks out of 11, you multiply that by one less, which is 5/10.

I would make sure that you are absolutely perfect with the grade 7-9 playlist, once you are happy with all of those work on a past paper, identify any topics that you lose marks on, work on those and then repeat the process! 😁🙏🏼

for the final question when you use the original method you were going to use, Red=7 and white equals x-7, the answer you get is 16? Did i do it wrong? when you plug both 9 and 16 into the calculator you still get 21/80.

it's because green is 3/7 , so that means that red would be 4/7 (therefore the 4). The x is there because of the fact that we don't know how many times that ratio is multiplied by if that makes sense

no, because when you go down the x/10 path, there will be one less red pen, not one less blue pen. You've probably figured that out by now since it's been 10 months lol
