@@宻 the questions you got wrong. We're probably a topic or two you haven't mastered. So selectively go over those topics, unless you made silly mistakes then no reason why you can't push to a 9 By master i mean, there was a little detail in the chunk of understanding, that you may not have understood and it's why you may not have been able to understand that topic/problem

@@arinahsajid637 what I would recommend is to not jot notes down if your confident with the topic but if you think it is hard then make notes of it and try get some practice questions of it. For example if you struggle with sin cos tan lets say make notes of what you need to know and get some questions to develop that knowledge further. Good luck.

although may not be in the syllabus, I think it would be nice if you could introduce algebraic identities such as (a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2 and also you can explain how you would use them a great example of using the identity is the quadratic inequalities in the last question where you had to do(2n+6)^2. If pupils can learn and remember this off by heart, it would surely minimise any mistakes in expanding and simplifying these expressions. the other identities are (a-b)^2 = a^2 - 2ab + b^2 and a^2 - b^2 = (a+b)(a-b) The reason I'm suggesting this is because I came from Hong Kong to the UK and realised that many of my classmates or just people I know, they don't know these identities and they make mistakes when trying to simplify these expanded expressions. I think if everyone know these identities it would be much help in other parts of algebra.

On q21b, if I multiply top and bottom by (2root3 -1) as opposed to +1, why doesn't it work? So my numerator would be 6-root3 over 12+1. So the answer would be 6-root3 over 13. Why is this incorrect. If you work out the equation you get different answers, why?
