It's the price people want for retro games that pushes me down the emulation / rom root. £80 for a boxed game is too much. New or otherwise really.
@TheGebs248 күн бұрын
Have you got much of a physical collection?
@envoycdx8 күн бұрын
@TheGebs24 sadly not for that particular reason. Various pc games 7-8 og xbox titles, handful of wii games and whatever i inherited from a friend when they passed. An eclectic selection more than any form of collection
@billybobs17058 күн бұрын
emulation is the way to go no need for all this obsolete media
@envoycdx8 күн бұрын
@@billybobs1705 which is great until the site is closed down, or your device corrupts the flash media being used. Its a fine balance really. I use emulation because I can and its a means to an end. Clone / original hardware has something that emulation just can't beat (especially if its something you grew up with)
@billybobs17058 күн бұрын
@@envoycdx i grew up with more console and computers than you lot put together..i don't understand when you say sites closing down and flash corruptions how does that obstruct?....you can find emus and roms anywhere if you know where to look, original hardware does nothing but take up space that's why mp3's were invented. You might find the odd few antiques but if it's purely just to play them emu's will do the same job.
