When John first announced that the TDX ost was gonna be doom inspired and mostly metal, I worried about how they could only get so far with it before all the music started to sound samey. Safe to say y’all quelled these fears. Rock on dude 🤘🔥

here’s everything interesting I could find/found on the themes 0:26 Zombieosis’s guitars(?) are tuned the lowest of any ost 0:45 Eradicator is GeeJ’s most popular song TO DATE 1:04 RPD is the first tdx ost made to not have any guitars 1:47 Nightmare Exo Santa was one of GeeJ’s easiest tracks,if not the easiest 2:05 Hellspawn’s lyrics where censored,making it the first ost to get 2 versions: ingame and online 2:25 Teeth In had the most difficult guitar parts,it’s also GeeJ’s second most popular video 2:49 (somewhat obvious) Calamity was mostly based off of Doom Eternal’s “Final Sin” 3:04 From The Abyss was originally and error for a different scrapped theme 3:24 AU Mancubosis was the base inspo for zombieosis 3:45 Heretic was inspired off of Dusk’s OST 4:05 C!Zombieosis was difficult as it was a remix 4:26 Vindicta almost didn’t make it in time due to it being synthwave,a style they haven’t tried before 4:46 Soul Bound To Steel was going to be ambience but was too good for that 5:06 Wretched Spawn(personal favorite) took the longest to make out of (possibly) any ost as of now That’s all,correct anything wrong you see!

Not gonna lie I really like how engineers theme could easily fit into the madness combat universe. Even the lyrics of which would be normally the most detracting factor to putting it in another setting actually fit madness combat quite well. Glad it made the cut and now I’m curious about all the unused songs that ended up being scrapped.

list of syncs that i found cool: 0:49 awesome eradicator sword sync 3:02 so many damn syncs, the arm swing, the fly up, 2nd arm swing and the landing. 3:31 the sword shock sync. 3:51 heretic summon and his purple orb throw 4:06 corrupted shotgun sync, laser eye shot (kinda?) and the charge. 4:26 Engineer punch, the death nail (kinda?) 4:48 Contemptor Machine gun blast 5:05 the wretched jump end yah. thats it.

"Work In Progress" Defend Or Be Slaughtered maybe your typical "metal music boss fight" but the fact that this is LITERALLY JUST THE FIRST BOSS shows how *insert The Gee J's real name* much effort he puts (because remember what he said in Saltz' video? "nah, let me make the music for you and he sure as hell did) the title also gives some potential lore, does "slaughtered" mean being "bait" in the battlefield? Zombieosis Despite being confused on the "DON'T LET UP!" voiceline, this has 2 interpretations. The prey fighting back or the Predator weakening (as it tanks more and more damage before dying) Eradicator [Mk 1] Genuine respect for this OST NOT having ads but that aside, even though this nother "typical metal", it compliments the context (like Zombieosis) that "death is literally right infront of you" (hence the intensity). Revived Plague Dr [Plague Division] Ironically used to hate this OST and it's not because of "the context" but overtime, I actually started to love this OST (learning that hating will might potentially turn into something you'll be interested in as long as you genuinely take time) also wait... THERE'S "CHAINSAW" SOUNDS? (BUT NO GUITAR?). Exo Santa [Xanta!] BRO'S STILL COOKING DESPITE 🗣️❄️, that chipmunk then demonic sounding voice 💀. Love how the instruments ACTUALLY compliment eachother between an XMAS and metal sounding, DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED WITH THE CLIMAX 🗣️🔥 because it is indeed, "THE COOLEST CAROL OF BELLS REFERENCE" 🗣️🔥 Exo Santa Nightmare [XhelMAS] It still sounds good though despite taking a day to make? love how the beginning is basically the ✨heavenly part✨ of the normal variant then metal then a... "XMAS chase" of some sorts (which makes sense because if you DO NOT kill Exo Santa immediately... 💀). Hellspawn Both version's lyrics are actually well thought about, the "Clean" showing a clear agressive intent while "Nasty" gives potential lore of "it being connected to Awakened" (Erad Mk 4 fighting Wretched), and... "why do I hear boss fight music?" 💀 (the choir) Teeth In Ah yes the infamous: "chanting before being crushed by the boss", those guitar rifts payed off tho and can't forget about that rooster's 🗣️🔥, also the theory of "Teeth In" (having those lyrics) mean the strongest of that variant? like Apex Predator, since it's "the strongest" or "superior" (not counting Corrupted), the 1st mark being thee ✨Superior✨ among the Eradicators? Calamity [Stained, Brutal] Another OST not I but ALOT hated (even being compared to "Raze The Void" aka Void Reaver's theme by Phoqus from TDS) but overtime I loved it aswell, boss osts are intense in an agressive way but this one is "horrific" for a reason. 💀 From The Abyss ... WAIT THIS WAS A MISTA- other than utilizing Void's death sound "NO!", love how reverbed the beginning and end is. Au Mancubosis Ah yes where John wanted this to originally be the OST for Plague Dr, also appreciate the fact you used "AU" (Gold) shoutout to whoever guy that figures it out but "AU" could also mean "Alternate Universe" where there's actually a G Erad Mk 1 Combat, love the choir in the beginning also INSPIRATION FOR ZOMBIEOSIS? didn't think (the guitar sure) Haerisis "... WTF IS A DU-" jokes aside that "Taunting" motif near the end goes 🗣️🔥 Corrupted Zombieosis "KILL THEM ALL!" makes a lot more sense considering the "converted" victim attacks it's ally (hatred or hallucination?) but it STILL went hard though, having some different motifs, not being the same exact thing nor different either. Vindicta That's the neat part, it actually sounds extremely good because of how unique it sounds without it sounding extremely different (to the point of not sounding like a TDS ost), ngl you should go for OSTS like these because trust me, it'll add an identity for TDX other than metal. Soul Bound To Steel ... AN AMBIENCE? IF IT DID END UP BEING ONE IT'S DEF GONNA BE ONE OF THE COOLEST SOUNDING ONES LOL (has motifs or instruments sounding similar to "Choose your destiny") Wretched Spawn HOLY SHI- the 3 phases (2nd phase beginning is 🗣️🔥) then last phase "You ### here", I can see how this was the longest OST and making it, the voices, "Wave after wave, we weaken and eradicate", also that "Your kind ends here" 🗣️🔥 "You're not supposed to be here."
