Is the first day and from what I've seen in life, every loving parent that sends their kids to school for the first day has the same feelings. Best video ever especially when it comes to our kids. I was just having a conversation with myself today, yes myself about how I wished I could go back to raising my two children. I would do it all differently and invest time and all into my kids. They really do grow up so fast, like where did the time go. So many hurdles to jump in a child’s life that are hard on the child as well as the parents. Pre school is no different from college and all the hurdles in between. A great learning experience for both of you. My rule is to always send your child off happy, no matter what it takes. Starting the day off with tears is awful. Mornings before school isn’t the time for arguments. Let it go! Glad to see he did well!

We out my niece in school at 5 she has been at home with us everyday before then. And we cried all day, 😢😂. She is so popular in class now and she wants to go to school. She likes school and that’s what we wanted is for her to love it. That way we know she will succeed, plus they need people skills that they really can’t get at home with family after awhile. They have to grow, and it won’t always be up underneath us 🤷🏾‍♀️. But, we will handle business if we have to trust! ❤🙏🏾😂

It’s okay. All parents go through this when their children start school. It seems like Aiden will fine. You can always do pop up visits just to give yourself peace of mind. You two are doing a great job raising that sweet boy of yours. I’ll tell you what though…the next thing you know he’ll be in grade school. So yes! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun. This brings back such memories. I remember my daughter's first day of preschool and i thought she would have a hard time leaving me because i was a stay at home mom. Boy was i wrong. Thanks for sharing because this is a different world & lot parents find it hard to trust. In my family it was age 2/3 headstart then daycare. Aiden is a bright lil dude & he will let you know by his actions if that school is for him. Keep a prayerful life 🙏🤲🤲🙏❤️

You did the right thing. And never regret it. My mom cried when we all went off to school and college. Never regret homeschooling because it is not for everyone. I am so proud of you both. Also watch your back with the school and what goes on in it. I am a retired educator and my mom was a good teacher. Some of her former students are in their 80's and still miss her. So do I. Will suggest things if I see that you need some help.

2024, Let me help your guys feel better. My daughter started school at the same age. I spoke with the director for an hour and left the school with my daughter. I took her back two days in a row and stayed the whole time. They had to make me leave. I cried all the way home. 🏡 It was a sad day. 😂 After a while, she jumped right in, and love going to school.

Ok, homeschool granny now. I homeschooled my three. The youngest is now 40 with an 11 year old. The old wise tell us that there is a invisible umbilical attachment to your child until the age of 12/13. So, you will feel pain upon separation. My children may have been more socialized while not in the formal setting as they had Pathfinders/camping, church programs, outings, music lessons, tennis, baseball camps. I pray that it works well for Aiden .

Kids adopt so much better than us parents. I know exactly how you are feeling. 😮I took my grandkids to daycare dropped them off and went right back to get them, and took them to an amusement park 😂😂. But all in all, they loved daycare and their teacher.

My 1st daughter started around 4. 2 was way too soon for me. Her dad and his mom wanted her to go all day everyday which was too much for her, because after that first day she cried every day 😂😂 we took her out and put back in the next half of the year, every other day for half days and it worked out so much better.

My parents sent me to school when I was 3. At the time both parents was working and my grandma was running her business. I used to holla quiet a bit so my mom was concerned slightly and most of the children in my neighborhood were older. So she dropped me off and I told her she could leave. My mom knew then I was ready.😅😅😅
