I'm from Southeast Alaska, where it rains nearly the entire year (when it isn't snowing). I lived in Oregon for nearly 3 years, where it rarely rained nearly the entire time I was down there. This helped me feel at home and sleep peacefully even when there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

I'm struggling with depression at the moment and my brain keeps going round and round trying to work out stuff I can't get a grasp of how to deal with. I get "scared" or something when I turn the lights off and it's silent, as my thoughts won't let me sleep and keep whirring. You're not good enough, over and over. If I listen to TV or radio there's a chance of louder noises disturbing me once I do fall asleep. This is really good to have playing as background natural sound.

We have the ads set to only show one ad at the very beginning of the video, which you can skip after 5 seconds. Every once in a great while someone posts that they got ads in the middle. When we emailed KZbin about that glitch they said that people having that issue should follow these troubleshooting steps to try and fix the issue that they're experiencing: -Clear the cache and cookies of your web browser (or YT app) -Try doing the steps while in an incognito window -Update your device's software and web browser -Log out and back in of your account -Try doing it on a different device

I’ve used a fan to sleep for decades! Since mid grade school. Year round, regardless of Winter, or not. _Best_ ‘white noise’. In summer, the window AC is _great!_ Came across this by chance. Will see how it works. The little crackling sounds mixed in from whatever it’s hitting, is a bit annoying...I may focus on that too much, over anything else. And that won’t be good. ;/ I’ll see how it goes! :)

@@patfoley4888 I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with tinnitus as well. You are not alone. I have been living with tinnitus for about 3 years now and it does get better. Actually, I think my brain just gets better at ignoring it. I don't even notice it now unless I think about it and then I hear it. When it's loud at night videos like this are helping me fall asleep. I have also been listening to a channel called "Get Sleepy" when I want to listen to a story to fall asleep or go through a mediation for relaxation and sleep. Hope that helps you as well.
