With no intent to disrepect or discredit him, i suggest that his statement that Ghana is bigger than Ukraine should be doubled checked, because Google tells me Ukraine is bigger both by land mass and population than Ghana. One thing we need to be mindful of is the origin of the seed. The gmo crops that ngos and aid agencies are likely to support and promote. What is contained within them. Just as they can be programmed to be resistant to disease they can be bio engineered to create outcomes that are detrimental to us in Africa.

He skirted that question. He mentioned he leases the land. Based on observation, I can tell the land is not very productive. It appears like there must be government subsidies or some other form of assistance provided to help him manage this operation. Free labor in exchange for food is probably taking place here.

Dear, The farm owner is / was not giving straight forward answers to the questions asked. Missed opportunity to provide me with a clear invitation to do a "feasibility study" of my own. For example; 1. He couldn't give us the initial cost (cedis) of acreage he started with. Rather, he said: saving from his wife...; how much plus what?? 2. The cost of a green house the lady asked; how much did he say? 3. Many other questions he didn't or couldn't have answered. Anyway, thanks for the little l got from the interview.
