This melodious Vedic chant is taken from Krishna Yajur Veda - Taittiriya Sakha - 5th Kandam, 3rd Prasnam, 10th Anuvakam and is rendered by Sri. Venkatakrishna Ghanapati, Sri. Sivaraman Ghanapati and Sri. K Suresh. These mantras are used in Agni Cayana Yajnas. "Meaning" of the mantra: Agni gives Tejas, (brilliance and beauty). Yajama should carry the ghee, go around the Agni and place it. Certainly Agni confers upon him the beauty and brilliance, which cannot be removed from him. Earlier Prajapati did the Yajna but could not get the glory. Then he arranged the 5 bricks properly and got his brilliance and glory. In the same way, this Yajamana will get brilliance, beauty, and fame, because Man has five Indriyas. Certainly Agni confers glory and beauty on men, to the fullest extent.
