Y'all really hit us in the feels today. Andy and G dropping wisdom and vulnerability-this episode proves that The Mics Are Open isn’t just about laughs; it’s about real-life gems too. 🔥🎤 Much love to the crew for keeping it raw and relatable!

But Calvin's fears or rather struggles, I do relate with them alot. 1.Retirement is scary with or without a plan. 2. Fatherhood; Motherhood for me always gives me thoughts coz I'm always like will I be their trauma source (not that I'm planning to) and will I give them the best? What is it like anyway? 🤔 3. Death of a parent, let me just say that grief is something that therapists should prepare us for even before the occurrence because until you go through that shit...

Am luving this open conversation especially from the guys. This are things that most people experience but can't share especially retirement, aging parents and caretaking responsibilities. Great convo!!!

Although Calvin argues that Republicans have historically been more supportive of Africa in terms of donor aid, it’s worth noting that during Trump’s administration, USAID funding to Africa was significantly reduced. This had a direct impact on NGOs in places like Turkana, where organizations such as Nawiri and BOMA rely heavily on funding from the UN and USAID. Hopefully, things will improve this time around.

I stopped watching because i see you talking about other countries and you forget our neighbors congo. Africans we need to free ourselves mentally first. Awareness needs to start with us
@thegoodcompanykeАй бұрын
@@brohere6416 - That’s unfortunate, we also failed to talk about Burundi, Malawi, Ethiopia etc. Would love to hear more about your perspective should you choose to ever watch again. Have a great week.
