Just got a 2016 Sonata Sport in excellent condition with 48k miles for $10k. Very nice car with many options and great gas mileage and ride quality 👍💯🎯

Just picked up the 2017 Hyundai Sonata sport 2.0T. I must say, this is a very fun car to drive. It is affordable with a turbo charge, and honestly feels luxurious. I got mine for 21.5k out the door. Especially with 2018 Sonata coming out soon, this is a great time to buy. I also tested the 2017 camry, 2017 accord, and 2017 Acura ILX, and I drove the 2017 SE sonata. The base sonata felt stronger and faster than the camry and accord, while obviously not faster then the ILX. Straight away I wont talk more about the camry just because everyone knows how the camry is. quiet, reliable, but boring to drive. Now, the accord vs sonata. This was a challenge for me due to them being so close in cabin noise, power, and space inside the cabin. The real thing that got me to choose a sonata or the accord was due to them being so similar, and because I was getting $5000 off msrp. But I decided to go with the 2.0T because honestly, 21.5k for a turbo charge is fantastic. Especially after putting it against the ILX, and accord sport. I found it to be the faster of the 3, and to have the nicest interior/feel. Also, a lot of people are trashing the 2015-2017 sonata due to the loss of horse power on the turbo. While it is actually faster due to the 260 lb of torque coming in sooner. With a 0-60 at 6.3 seconds for 21.5k, backup camera, apple car play and android auto, I was hooked. I have had my car for about a month now and have had no problems whatsoever. Also, the pearl white with tints makes the car look so sporty and perfect. I also get around 20-21 mpg in the city. Which is not bad either.

Do you know what you said throughout your comment? Due to your essay style comment. I couldn't read after to much explaining on why you chose the sonata, due to your essay style comment. But i think ima get a 2018 sonata sport, due to your praise on the car. I think due is said too much in your comment, due to describing the dues.

I pick up my Sonata Sport this Saturday! $17.7k, I really cannot complain
@GriffXJ7 жыл бұрын
I was actually wrong, looked at my pink slip again, it was $17.3k. That's before taxes, tags, fees, etc. It came out to $18.7k out the door.

1 more day lol. I honestly don't know how much longer these vehicles are going to last. I keep checking the website of dealer that I bought mine at, every day there's less and less listed. There were over 56 2017 Sonatas as of last weekend and they're already down to 43. The one I bought actually had someone looking at it 2 hours before I signed my paperwork, usually dealerships will tell you that BS to get you to buy the car, but I do remember seeing someone take it for a test drive when I was getting into the Elantra I drove. The dealer originally wanted to get me in the car for around $18.6k, but I was able to talk them down to $17.3 on this specific one because it was the oldest one on their lot and they wanted to get rid of it.
@GriffXJ7 жыл бұрын
riverstrat yes I am! It drives so smoothly and I'm getting double the gas mileage that me Jeep XJ got. Definitely worth the money. One small complaint, a piece of trim on the driver's side of the windshield is loose and pops up on my car, it's covered under warranty and I just haven't had time to take it in to be fixed yet. Probably just a broken clip
@GriffXJ7 жыл бұрын
riverstrat I was able to find one new cheaper than used. I got mine for $17.3k like I mentioned before, I've been seeing used ones with 5x the mileage going for $18k. Keep your eyes out, you can't go wrong with the Optima or Sonata, the price you pay for the features you get is absolutely astonishing and can't be beat
@GriffXJ7 жыл бұрын
riverstrat it's good to be safe rather than sorry. Congrats! How do you like it compared to what you've seen with the Sonata?

So Question I have the 2017 Sonata 2.0t Sport and I don't have a push button but I've looked a lot of places and it says push but mine uses a key I'm so confused not a big deal I like key more but are there two different models one with key one with push any help would be greatly appreciated.
@brody92007 жыл бұрын
OG Smurfizm I’m pretty sure none of the sport 2.0T models have the push button start. It’s an option as value package on the 2.4L Sport and it’s standard on Limited and Limited 2.0T.

riverstrat it isn’t. If you go look on auto trader or anything it’s not. I believe for 2018 anything above the SEL trim has push button but for 2017 sport with the value package did and then limited and limited 2.0t.

i used to have a sonata before, i like the style the power and the space. my car is very well taken care of. but very disappointed on the quality 50k kms the master cylinder failed while im cruising had to replace that. 80kms it burns so much oil to the point that before the 5k oil change the dipstick is already dry.

it had a lot of room and the interior was visually pleasing but the screen was kinda smallish the wheels was tacky and what bothers me is they have projectors but no led or hid lighting i seen halogen. were in 2017 plus it is a safety thing as well as adding a premium feel being its supposed to be the nicer version of thr optima.... not actually very impressed with this car but i suppose for 23k its ok... great video though you always have bomb reviews
