Wow, awesome message again brother Andrew, I bought the lie of the enemy while listening to a person who called himself a “pastor” and was very well versed in the Bible and seemed to love and know Jesus Christ, but even though I knew the truth, satan, crafty as he is, got me to believe that I needed to do do and do more to please God and earn and keep my salvation and as a result, it almost drove me to insanity and was the worst time in my christian walk. But thanks be to God that He never and will never ever leave me, nor forsake me! God reminded me who I am, a child of God, Because of what His Son has “DONE”, Praise JESUS! 🙌🏼 Thank you brother Andrew for sharing this amazing grace message that is needed in this time and age!🙏🏼❤️

I was in the same boat. I was going insane. I can't believe I was receiving the wrong message for so long. Confused as well and the Lord is not a God of confusion. I believed in His love and then other versed would make me go do works. All out of context. Incredible that he has actually set us free for real and that I can actually rest in Him. Now I have received the real Gospel the real good news because this is good news for real. I used to ask myself. How are these good news?!! Going insane doing works. Real gospel real good news ok that's wassup thanks be to Jesus. I can really feel his presence now and I am in love with the King.

I read your comment and been in churches that reject Grace . Or they live just as if they do or by words trying to add to Jesus and His grace . You might if never seen one adding works that one time knew the truth like if amnesia . It is crazy. The fresh wants to earn things oddly .

Yes the prosperity teachers do not teach truth and also commenced teaching salvation by works and selfrighteousness inna tricky way . My town dominated by heresy from it . Believe me I feel like only guy in my town that studies scripture. Rarely you see ones who hunger to pour into scripture ..many will shut you up from churches telling u talking it with your own outside in public is not good !!! A lie .

Just listened to this message this morning and it really blessed me. I have struggled with my feelings as a Christ-follower for a long time because my feelings frequently run contrary to the bible and what I know to be true. Since my feelings are not always right and it's so good to know that I can live beyond my feelings and there is nothing that I have to do to get right with the Lord because he already did it! Thanks for posting!

Feelings come for so many reasons....the food we eat, allergies from weather conditions, medications, ailments, not enough sleep, outward pressures, etc. We should never define ourselves by our feelings. We can practice thinking right thoughts to help ease them at times, but feelings are not a reliable measure of our real selves.

AMEN Farley, these things you say are most certainly found and taught in the Bible exactly as you present them yet people will fight these truths tooth and nail but it's clearly what the Word says. I so agree with Adam A. When Andrew teaches, I realize how many scriptures I have been taught to see differently than what was clearly intended. The truth, the gospel, is liberating and it is life-giving in Jesus! Andrew's series on "The Perfect You" is the most life-giving set of messages I have ever heard in many years of being a believer!

The Lord Our Righteousness, Jeremiah 23:6. I was “bought” at a price. 1 Corinthians 6:20. I am now a slave of The Lord, my righteousness. Romans 6:18. I was purchased by God, redeemed. Paid in full. He paid it all. What a personal blessing to hear this message and even a greater blessing to grasp it. I am no longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness. Jesus came to set the captives free. The bible says to walk in the Spirit and to be led by the Spirit. There must be something in our spirit being led by His Spirit we are listening and looking for. When I got saved I for sometime was very fruitful bearing much fruit. Never had so much joy peace patients kindness meekness hope faith gentiles long suffering than ever in my life. I was 21 when I got saved and I am now 39. I only was faithful forbade short time maybe a few years and then would go back and forth from my old ways back to the Lord. Back and forth over and over. So when I got saved I did have an experience. And His Spirit bore witness to my spirit and was so confident in Christ. One-time when the lady was in pain with carpal tunnel syndrome the Lord filled me with so much faith and she also had Faith as well we both put our faith in Christ and on-the-spot she was healed from carpal tunnel syndrome and it never returned. So I made my life rather grevious and difficult for quite some time with the back-and-forth stuff. For the last three years been reading the word and praying and I sure do miss bearing all that fruit and having all that love and all that Joy. But I haven't experienced it so I don't know what to do. Maybe I just need to stand and trust God and know I am forgiven and let him do what he does.

Andrew, dear, KJV makes it sound even easier. "...he that IS joined to the Lord is one spirit." Not he that JOINS HIMSELF to the Lord. We're joined to the Lord automatically when we're born again. We had nothing to do with our first birth, and nothing to do with our 2nd.

Michael Pugh the book of James is a book that you have to understand to whom it was written I recommend that you go to Robert Breaker s. Channel he is a great Grace teacher on his last videos he is helping us understand the book of James, you will be happy to check it out.

See Andrew Farley’s book “Twisted Scriptures”, Chapter 29. He addresses James 4:8 there. Basically, when you read the New Testament, letters, you have to know who the audience is. In James4:8, the Apostle is addressing his Jewish contemporaries who were on the fence and very wish-washy about Jesus. Remember, Jesus was a total threat to the entire Jewish way of life, a life that they had known for thousands of years. So of course they were questioning, “Was Jesus really the messiah?” As Andrew explains, this was the quintessential question for the Jews of that day (and probably still is!). So in James 4:8, he is speaking directly to his Jewish contemporaries and asking them to ‘make up their minds’ about Jesus. So the audience in this portion of his letter is clearly unbelieving Jews. They were not born again and therefore were not close to God. They were still sinners that needed to be cleansed. Therefore, James 4:8 is a statement for unbelievers, not for believers! Hallelujah!! Once you understand who the audience is, James 4:8 becomes very clear. Everything has to be read in context. We are called to “rightly divide” the word of God. Hope that helps, and please read chapter 29 in Twisted Scriptures. The lights will come on very clearly.
