I have mental illness. I prayed more than once for Jesus to heal me. I then prayed for the right medication and when my mediction was changed, my illness improved over time.

I prayed for a lady one time that had carpal tunnel syndrome I did it by the Spirit of God through the faith that he gave me according to his word. Me and her both agreed and believed we both prayed and that second, that very moment she was healed from carpal tunnel syndrome and it never ever returned from that moment on. Mat 4:23-24 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and HEALING EVERY DISEASE AND SICKNESS among the people. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them. Mat 8:14-17 When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him. When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were BROUGHT TO HIM, and he drove out the spirits with a word and HEALED ALL THE SICK. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” Mat 9:1-4 Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus SAW THEIR FAITH, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!” Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts? Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” Then the man got up and went home. When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man. Mat 9:22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “YOUR FAITH HAS HEALED YOU” And the woman was healed at that moment. Mat 9:27-29 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you BELIEVE that I am able to do this?” “YES, LORD,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “ACCORDING TO YOU FAITH let it be done to you”; and their sight was restored. Mat 15:28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you HAVE GREAT FAITH! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment. Mark 1:40 A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, YOU CAN MAKE ME clean.” Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. Mark 6:1-6 Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples. When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. “Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing? Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they TOOK OFFENSE at him. Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” He COULD NOT DO any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. He was amazed at their LACK OF FAITH. Acts 14: 8-10 In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he HAD FAITH TO BE HEALED and called out, “Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk. 1 Pet 2:24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “BY HIS WOUNDS YOU HAVE BEEN HEALED.” James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 3 Jhn 1:2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. Amen

Well spoken Pastor Farley. I was faced with this, and am faced with this right now. When I was not healed, and I asked another ministry about it, namely AWMI, they said it was my lack of faith. In other words, condemnation. God is not sovereign according to them, man is, and man can tell God what t do and not do. They can twist scripture all they want. God's grace keeps me in sickness, in pain, and in hurt. I'll trust Him and reject the condemners and false prophets/teachers/pastors of today.

It really does depend on our faith for healing. Jesus's promises are "Yes" and in HIM "Amen". But keep in mind that this doesn't mean that we should beat ourselves up for "too less faith" if we don't receive what we expect from God. Our faith is already from God Himself. It's all through a relationship with Him. There are plenty of true pastors like Bill Johnson who have extremely sound theology and testimonies about daily miracles in his hometown and wherever he travels. Farley doesn't know as much as he should with this topic. He is however really good with forgiveness, and that's slightly more important than healing. I support both strictly according to the Bible and not our everyday experience. If I pray for someone, and they're not healed, it just means I'm still growing in faith. I'm not seeing as clear as I can. Everybody that Jesus prayed for is healed, and nobody can see God until they see the Son (John 1).

I’ve seen it recently with gangrene in my mother’s foot being reversed and the doctors not amputating it. That just happened last week at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring MD. And to say healing is rare is a giving in to the ways of this world not to the promises of Jesus and the teaching of the apostles. If you don't know people who are seeing healing on a daily regular basis in those they encounter, I'm sorry but I know many do. This weekend a group of 75 of us hit the streets and saw DOZENS of people healed and received the Gospel. I just prayed yesterday and saw a girl's ACL and MCL healed and she walked away with no crutches. God is not a 'slot machine' - but his promises are true. I love a lot of your teaching's brother but you are sadly very wrong on this understanding of healing as taught by the scriptures. We cannot walk by sight in what we see here but on what is stated as truth. By the way, no one barks orders at God. we follow Jesus and the disciples examples and command the healing to the body and the oppressor. None of them barked at God and neither do we.

I love you Andrew but you missed this one. The life and ministry of Jesus alone emphasize how God wants us healed and it's part of the atonement. Check the Greek word for ' saved' which is 'sozo'. It explains salvation comprises, deliverance from sin, healing, danger and prosperity. It's so intense that in one meeting Jesus healed all. Mark all the places in your new testament gospels together with Acts of the Apostles where healing occured. Healing holds such a firm place in the new testament. But in another, scripture says, and there he could not perform many miracles....because of the unbelief Mark 5:6. Imagine that, the Son of God could not......! And it was because of the unbelief of the people. Which goes to say if they had believed, Jesus would have healed them. So the healing of the people was not entirely (sovereignly) the decision of God. God is all powerful but the people stopped the healing by their unbelief. It's not right to criticize people for their lack of faith if they fail to get healed. We don't understand why that happens. But as scripture has said, we know in part 1 Corinthians 13:9. Now the gospel of grace is the answer for sin, but my question is, have all the people who have heard this gospel been completely delivered from sin and stopped repeating their iniquities? No!!! But that doesn't make the gospel of grace a false gospel.

If you look at your spirit.. you are 100% whole. If you’re in a wheel chair... the new creature that is in Christ is not in a wheel chair. I’ve experienced healing.. it’s real. “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬ My brother shattered his jaw and was going to need a really crazy surgery. I laid my hands on him and believed for a total healing and that’s exactly what he got. I had a cat that was paralyzed when I was in high school. People laughed at us and felt sorry for us because we wouldn’t have it put down. We learned how to pray for it and it was walking not long after. My cat 12 years later is in full health and runs around. If you judge everything you know to be true based on what you can see, taste, hear, feel, and smell.. then you’re carnal and to be carnal is as good as death. You’re not going to be operating by the spirit but by your own understanding. My Bible says that the power of death and life are in the tongue. I like you Andrew but healing is lesser of a miracle than getting our sins washed away. That was a much greater miracle. Just because I’ve never flown an air plane.. doesn’t mean the law of flight doesn’t exist. That’s essentially the argument here. We “rarely see the miracles” so that must mean God is picking and choosing when this law works and doesn’t work.. as if God shuts off gravity when he wants to. Doesn’t work that way. Pain, sickness, grief, cancer, lameness, blindness, deafness, seizures.. Jesus took all of that onto him and he bore all of that. I applied this to my life and I don’t get sick, I refuse to. I speak life over myself like the Bible tells me to do. Idc if I have a wart in my hand or a pain in my back.. it’s gone in the name of Jesus. Idc if I look or sound stupid.. in the moment. who am I trying to please here? People? Don’t wake me up because this stuff works for me.

I also would definitely recommend finding another teacher on this subject. My friend and i go and pray for the sick and have seen results. We speak to the problem, we have authority. Its about renewing your mind to who you are in christ. Knowing who you are. He sent us to go and pray on the sick.

health is not a luxury, it is a strict necessity.... and Jesus says Himself that WHATEVER WE ASK OF THE FATHER IN HIS NAME IT WILL BE DONE AND HE WILL DO.... is Jesus telling us to bark orders in vain ?? so i dont think the suffering in this hell hole are barking orders at God.... we simply ask for healing in the Name of Jesus.... and no, we dont have the answer to WHY it still does not happen.... what i do notice is that everyone seems to shift or disregard or throw this real situation on something else, simply because they dont know the answers and they are just as baffled as to WHY it does NOT happen ??? ... they keep thinking it is NOT enough faith, or that we are barking orders at God... not true... or they have not yet gone thru the agony of LOOONGGGGG suffering to realise HOW MUCH they would also want to be healed.... it is easy for the healthy to talk, easy to explain it away... because they are not stuck with the hell of physical suffering every second of their life... it is easy to disregard such an important and crucial request of God..... yeah, life is nice and easy and seemingly short when you're having fun.... but when all hell breaks loose and never ends, you will change your view on this.... sadly so, because i dont wish it on anyone...

This brother gave a very helpful word with a proper balanced view. He gave some good examples from the scriptures. This view is rejected by many today who are seeking after the "supernatural" things and have turned healing, tongues and prophecies, (most of which today are false, vain performances of the flesh) into their idols. They have to have Christ plus something else. Yes, miracles accompanied believers, (mainly Apostles) but only to confirm the Resurrection power of the risen Lord. Miracles are not a Divine Right of every believer. The Lord said that John the Baptist was much more than a prophet, yet John performed no miracles.

We can't use Human Experience to change what God Said in his word. Meaning, just because many people don't get healed, does not mean God is not in the business of healing. Yes, Jesus said it is your faith that made you well to some people. But why oh why.. Paul and Timothy, we know for sure these men had faith.. Why would they not just claim their healing and believe for their healing? If this teaching was really the truth even back then, why didn't they just claim their healing Etc?

Would you explain these verses to me please John 14:12-14. Jesus went around healing all that was sick…So are you saying we cannot (in Jesus name) heal people? I do realize this is totally up to GOD, but it seems pretty plain that we are given some power as His children. Thank you for your answer.

Not all healing was instant in the Bible. Jesus prayed multiple times for the blind man. And the 10 lepers were healed after Jesus spoke to them while they were on their way.

For those who listen to this video I encourage you to find other teachers than brother Farley on this matter. Or better yet do your own study on the matter. There are very good explanations for Paul's thorn in the flesh, timothy's stomach ailments, why not everyone is healed, why it doesn't happen instantly all the time, why we don't bark to God, why He's not a slot machine but we can rest on his promises and authority he's given. If there's one thing I've learned about pastors - I agree with a lot of what they teach but I never agree fully in all their teachings. Take what anyone says to the Word and see if it's real. Then praise God for the good truth and move on from the areas they are lacking in.

prayed with my mother once, she had been through hell with a botched operation etc. A Needle of considerable size had been left inside her. Anyway...quite a while after praying with her, several weeks, she had an x ray as part of some medical follow up. No Needle! totally gone! now some might argue all kinds of things as to what might have happened. Did it bring about revival and dedicated lives to Jesus? nope!!! but then that reminds me of the 10 Lepers that Jesus healed..only 1 came back to thank Him? go figure hey??

Why aren't healings garrunteed ! Hey people didn't the disciples return to JESUS!!!! ,And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. But then ya have the scripture And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And I'm we all know how that turned out! Christians all over the earth are seeking signs and wonders from God. Are they seeking rightly? The apostle Paul said "I pursue toward the goal for the prize..." and "That I might know Him" and "For to me, to live is Christ". Christ was Paul's goal and Prize. He should be ours too. Doing miracles won't count for much in that Day. Only the Christ we've gained will.

Was this about Faith? It was already done on cross? I followed also teacher who's name is Curry Blake, and he has being healing lots people on Jesus name, and he talks about faith and healing, he does not boast, nor he makes money from healing, but he has great videos about it, and he say that we all have authority to pray and lay hands on sick and can also do it for ourselves. So that it is something like this: My ear is healed right now in Jesus name. Like as if it's allready done. Is this False? Can someone correct me and not call me from devil right away. Thanks

I believe Pau struggled because he relied on his senses. And God says His Grace's was sufficient. In otherwords just believed in the finish work & NOT look @ his senses or flesh screaming at him that he is not healed!

It would be cruel for a father to withhold healing from his children, and even moreso if he's a doctor. God is both our Father and the Great Physician so to say that God doesn't have healing for every person is saying that God is a cruel dad who perhaps suffers from Munchhausen by Proxy. Pastors like Andrew who doesn't seem to understand that healing is part of the atonement, unintentionally teach that most human fathers are better dads than God is because most human dads would go to the ends of the earth and even die themselves if it meant healing their child. I wonder if there's anything Andrew wouldn't do to heal his son if his son was sick? So then to say that God didn't provide healing for each and every one of us is saying that God is NOT a good dad - he's a cruel dad who withholds healing from the vast majority of his children. Which is also saying that God DOES change and God IS a respecter of persons because throughout the Bible God healed his children... and Jesus healed everybody who had faith to be healed and who wanted to be healed. He even told his disciples to do the same thing: They preached the gospel and healed people at the same time. Clearly the Bible tells us that salvation and physical healing go hand in hand. Andrew needs to go back and read what the Bible says about healing in context and start teaching correctly that healing is part of the atonement.

I love Andrew’s teaching but this particular teaching was a bit off. I believe that healing is your right and a benefit of salvation. Now whether or not you exercise your faith and seek God is a different story. Oh well, nobody is perfect. We just have to continue in the faith.

The healing he was talking about was a heart healing…attitude of a life lived totally surrendered to God…..start there and you receive the physical healing as we live for Him…

The bible mentions "accompanying signs" at the end of Mark's gospel. They were given to the early believers as a confirmation that God was establishing His Kingdom in the church through the gospel. (Hebrews 2 vs 3-4). Back then there were astonishingly miraculous signs promulgated mainly through the apostles. Now that we have the completed word of God this confirmation by signs is no longer needed. Today, almost anyone can "heal" a bad back by unwittingly practicing hypnotism. I saw Kenneth Copeland and his wife pray over a young girl in a wheelchair who had terrible cerebral palsy. Absolutely nothing happened. It was embarrassing. Or, when for instance, was the last time you saw a double amputee's legs grow back from the knees down? TRUELY miraculous signs like that could surely still happen if God willed it , but most of today's "healings" don't compare at all to those found in the New Testament. James tells us to call on the elders of the church to anoint us and pray for us if we wish to be healed.

Oops! Sir: find your self another subject to teach on your messing this one up. God said to Paul my grace is sufficient for you. In other words it is by grace not only are we saved but healed. In salvation is healing because healing belongs to us it is the children’s bread. Love you Andrew but you need correction on this Topic of healing because you’re wrong. Healing is not a miracle it is a Promise of God. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Jesus always taught and said by your Faith let it be unto you or as you have believed so it will be done. Andrew I like your teachings but this has you down the wrong path. If people don't have the hope of the Promises of God what do we have? Even Salvation is a Promise of God and it also is about Faith in God. I know we all must face that final day here on Earth but where in the Bible does it say it has to happen by disease or sickness?

It is absolutely God's will for all to be healed and we are called to lay hands on the sick and tormented that they should be healed. I love most of Andrew's teaching but on this I could suggest a man who teaches this in a simple, humble, way, and that is Dan Mohler. Even Dan does hammer home that to seek the gifts of Healing without becoming the Love of God in Christ Jesus first, is a dangerous tract that will not go well.
