Just to put a story out there, There i was sitting at my club cricket bar here in South Africa (grade cricket for you Aussies) watching our 1sts play out of the corner of my eye but mostly fixed on the Aussie vs SA game. Aussies needing 35 off 24 and the hulk comes out and wins the Aussies the game, the whole bar just got up and left and at that point i just thought there is no ways i like this chap. Watching this video is absolutely fantastic , Stoin you are a legend bud , got the best humor , and awesome to get this content so thanks to TGC you guys bring a lot of entertainment to us. PS our firsts absolutely hammered the opposition.

exactly what i felt today! i have forgotten what cricket feels without politics n drama. i realised this when i was watching AUSvsBAN match today (somethng i wouldnt normally watch), it was so calm n refreshing to watch a game just as it is, n not a political battle. politics ruins anything it touches!
@chandinirao49293 жыл бұрын
@@air9music exactly. they just have to politicize everythng! while they get money for it, d spirit of a game is lost. There was a time (my childhood) when d spirit of cricket was very much alive in a IndvsPak match despite d rivalry, it never lead to a toxic aftermath. but now thanks to toxic media n political culture d spirit of d game has died

Great stuff, boiiis - between you guys and TFW's chats with Stoin, how can anyone not like the guy? Fond memories of being at Trent Bridge for Aus v Bangladesh at CWC19 as a neutral (England fan); Stoin was fielding out at deep square when some Aus lads next to us demanded that he 'show us yer socks!'. Suffice to say, after much coquettish teasing, he did. True rooster. (NB: Currently watching SL v Aus and all I can think of is the Wade impressions - 'THEY'RE NERVOUS, WE'RE CAAAAALM!')

We actually prefer Aussie interviews over Indian interviews. The Indians are too stiff coz they only use English for formal media, and let loose and joke in Hindi

Such an interesting insight. That makes heaps of sense even in some of my Indian work mates - whenever they joke with eachother they flip to Hindi even though they'd otherwise speak English to eachother. So interesting.

Most Indian's are first-generation English speakers.. there is a massive difference between Indian's whose families spoke English in the pre-90s generation and the more recently Urban-educated Indians. The only drawback is that the former aren't quite aware of how stilted their English is, so they don't quite read international banter and can get offended.
