Another fun video. Also, I'm on that server as well & the Iguanadon also broke a rule. One of the rules is that you can't retreat from a fight into the water unless you're a semi-aquatic. Sarco, Deinocheirus, Deinosuchus, Dimetrodon, Mega, Spino, Sucho, & Conca are the only ones that can retreat from a fight into the water.

actually going into the water isnt a rule on this server, on Islander *all* dinos are allowed to use water as long as they don't die in it. Iguanadon has extra water speed and special abilities specifically meant to allow it to use water to escape combat anyway its an intended mechanic with several hadrosaur dinos. however the 90s rule i dont enjoy its too bad combat has to end even if you're actively pursuing just cause you couldnt get a hit within a specific amount of time

If that server has the 90 second attack rule it also needs rules that prevent players from doing what that iggy did. Like no water camping unless you are a semi-aquatic.

Okay, so 3 things. 1: Amazing video as always! :) 2: Based Yunno not taking help from a rule breaker and dealing with them. 3: That Iggy has to be one of the biggest losers I've seen, stalling you out in the water making it so you can't attack is such a huge abuse of the rule tbh. And the "GG Laten" at the end, how shameful. The nerve of some players, man. (Also, according to someone in the comments who plays on that server. You can't retreat into the water unless you're a semi-aquatic so, should've used that against him if that's true. Oh well, I'm sure this video made him realize how much of a clown he is. 😂)

Depends on server. If it was Islander semi realism, they can escape into water, it's only a body denial rulebreak if they die in the water and the attacker can not eat.

​​@@tanklessyeet4498 Slick hide is the most effective defense - if a playable is able to use it, it's pretty much mandatory. If you don't get slick hide, if you can force them to attack you from the front, some playables like ceratopsians can still hit them with headbutts while they're latched close to your head - you can see that happen in the final fight of the video where the Tyrannosaur can bite them while they're latched on its neck. If you have a powerful backwards attack, like an Iggy, you can hit them once they've jumped off. If you don't get slick hide, you can't do either of what I said above, and you don't have some form of reliable escape, then you have to pray that they slip up. There's nothing else you can do, unfortunately.

This pounce needs a counter as well as bucking. Like The Isle Evrima. You can knock them off with trees and rocks and they fall stunned for a second.. Long enough for you to get a bite.. Makes them second guess the pounce if you are being really defensive. Another way to do it is make them take small bits of damage from hitting the tree or rock and it knocks them off with no stun..
