Gorgeous details in this journal . I love the idea of painted over the background!! I have printed up so many great images from the site that have valentine hearts or other things in the background that sometimes don’t suit the journals. I don’t always like to cut out the image so gesso or paint over is clever!!

Oh my goodness, Miss Jane, it's an absolute pleasure to meet you. This journal is wonderfully inspiring - wonderfully! So much creativity and heart in one little book. I've already saved your vid in my "must try" file as in just attempting to borrow (OK, steal 😲😔🤫😏🙂) some of your ideas I think I'll learn so much. Have you got a video with instructions on inserting pages the way you put your envelopes in? ...or perhaps if I re-watch I can get a better idea of what you did. Jane, I've gone thru this tutorial several times now, and always see something new and unusual! I also just LOVE how you put your own spin on a lot of the Gr Fairy photos and pieces. Can I ask you, do you have to put something like clear gesso or sand down some of the photos background, prior painting on them? Seems like it wouldn't stick on that shiny surface. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions. Again Jane, your work is just amazing!!
