What kind in bungee around the neck on top micro-traxion? Looks much quick and easier than sling harness sling tie up and over belay loop

Cheapest way is shock chord you can buy at a hardware store. Nicest is check out Avant climbing website and they have an excellent setup

How do you avoid the rope getting stuck when fix+following since no one’s there to tend to it when pulling it? Not as likely as I’m imagining?

Most times it just hangs straight down and we try to be cognizant of what it could possibly get stuck on. Good way is to move your backup knot up as you go vs leaving it all the way at the end

Why are you not using half ropes to simply belay your two followers up? With half ropes climbing in a team of three works quite nicely and is especially great if one of the climbers is new to multi-pitch climbing.
