Used these convenience stores a lot in japan. I had a building society debit card and it worked at all of them. The same debit card could be hit and miss at banks, and ironically it did not work at Toyko Disneyland. So to top up on cash I had to make a quick monorail to Maihama where I had no problem, also cheaper eating options at Maihama than in Disney proper.
