Dr. Anthony Youn on the Dangers of the Brazilian Butt Lift

One of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the country is also the most deadly.
According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Brazilian butt lift is one of the fastest-growing surgeries, with an expected 61% increase over the next five years. But, it has a death rate of one in 3,000. While that may not seem like a high number, some doctors say it is too risky. Dr. Anthony Youn, a holistic plastic surgeon based in Troy, Michigan, joins "BNC Live" with Laverne McGee to discuss the dangers of the procedure, medical tourism and how to get the procedure done safely.

It's not only dangerous, it's a huge waste of money since the body is going to reabsorb and move the fat to other parts of the body. It's not like the fats just going to stay in the same damn place, geez.

Just a word of caution. Take it with a grain of salt when looking at the before and after photos because they can easily be photoshoped so well that they could even fool a graphic artist or photographer, and i have done those kind of image manipulations. Cosmetic surgeons should really get into the habit of doing a 360 video of the before and after even though software programs that have vastly improved and rapidly improving in their capabilities to cover up flaws in a video it's more easier to detect than in a photo image for the trained eye or those that pay close attention to detail

To be fair, if you go to a person who isn't an official plastic surgeon for your surgery you are really risking it yourself...I am also not going to a dentist to get my heart checked
