Oh and overall I think in 2024 you can already get a good performing fingerboard setup for around 50€/$… The deck is a thing of taste, for example you can even take a plastic tech deck deck and can get good things out of it… I have made a setup from the older tech deck line (with the visible lines), reshape it (rounded tail and nose) on that I put rip tape, asi shop trucks with beta bushings and teak urethan wheels, one of my favorite setups alltime for just 55€ overall with very high quality (at least same quality-level like the 100€ black river complete)… Trucks that have a good wheel-fit starts around 10€/$ + 5 bucks for good bushings and the most expensive are the wheels, sure you can already get a set for just 5 bucks but those mostly have no bearing pockets and with that they don’t really are fun to use… The cheapest wheels that perform very well, always in stock with really good holding bearing pockets I testet till now are the 20€ wheels from create your skate… The bearings are fine, pockets hold up very well, shape is a bit like ill pills with similar size and the material is a high quality Plastik or nylon, more on the slippery side but I would say nearly undestroyable… With a setup like this you can already have a lot of fun without any fast damages, you can also even buy cheap shop completes (mostly around 50 bucks) but there you must mostly change wheels and bushings so in the end you would get more expensive on this way… The Tech performance could also be a good start for a wooden deck, I don’t really like them cuz they are pretty fast very wobbly but as starter deck still ok when you can get it very cheap (und 10 bucks)… So to get the best value I would always recommend to build a setup with parts, just take something around 50 bucks, some search for good parts and just have fun with what you get, when you then getting further you will figure out pretty fast what you really want and need on the board and what not so you can change stuff… The cheapest wooden setup I would recommend in the moment would be: panboo deck (15€) or shop deck (7,50), shop trucks 3.0 (15€), beta bushings (5€) from ASI Berlin store and the create your skate wheels (20€) from create your skate… That’s all together a 47,50-55€ (more or less the same in $) setup with no gamebreaking compromises that would be a lot of fun and hold up some more sessions then just 1 or 2 till it need again some love… I have bought everything from this list, most stuff even a while ago and everything is good to very good especially for that money and it’s by far better then the tech deck pro setups… The decks are completely ok for that money (quality is at least better as the wooden tech decks) and well made, the trucks tbh came with beta bushing close to brt, wheels fit is tight as it should, the trucks holds up even hard sessions, the bushings are like brt classics and the wheels I already discribed so they fit perfectly to this cheap but high performing setup… Sure it goes cheaper but not without making pretty hard compromises mostly on wheels quality (wheels itself) and wheel-fit (trucks) what both already have a very big impact in the felling and stability of the setup…

These aren't fake Dynamics though. They are fake DT Zero Eureka trucks (which are the "premium" grade china trucks). They are close, I'll give you that, but they are based on an entirely different, existing model. It's a bit misleading to title your video like this. That said, I've purchased numerous of these fake DT Zero Eurekas and they are awesome. I even went out of my way to purchase legit ones and compare them, and without a doubt, the fake ones give you a better bang for your buck.

the difference is in the performance and quality of materials as well as customer service. Scott spent lots of time and money to design a new truck that was above the beginner stage but still accessible to most people. there are many other reasons to support dynamic but the main point is to support fingerboarder own and run companies and not china knock offs

Baseplate 100% changes the feeling of a truck, dynamic reps are super stiff cause of how mellow and short the heel of the base plate is (yes I just made of that term🤣the heel is the part of the baseplate where the king pin sits) I find no matter what bushings i use or how loose I make my trucks my board just pivots but does not actually turn Lmk what y’all think if you have used these maybe it’s just a me issue because I ride insanely loose trucks lmk if you stiff truck people find the same issue as me or don’t because of how tight y’all ride ur trucks

They actually have fake dynamics that look exactly the same, other then the pivot cup. I got them from alibaba along with brt knockoffs, y truck, and caramel knockoffs. they are some of the best china trucks I have used. I just made a order for 32 sets of eureka 3.0 trucks at 6.35 a set. they are also really close to dynamic other then they have a lowered stance and are nut kingpins. But I think they are the best quality chinese trucks at the moment.

I dig these trucks. Teak sells them for way more as swerve prodigy. I have actual dynamics as well but I got a pair of these off temu to make my gf a custom fingerboard back for valentines day and it was like 10 bucks I think. then I was like oh wow these are pretty decent, so I bought a bunch of more pairs off aliexpress for like half what temu charges. These are great for grinding outside harsh stuff and not feeling like your messing up expensive trucks. Also since they are not crazy expensive you can buy multiple colors and switch the baseplates and hangers up for some cool custom combos. I'm currently rocking cartoon super villain purple and green. I noticed the paint colors are not consistent on these even if you get from the same place, like sometimes blue is dark and sometimes its a really awesome lighter blue.

Hi! im a new fan of you and im gonna buy a fingerboard, one thing i wanna learn is jumping with two fingers, when i look for videos its all just "how to do an ollie on a fingerboard" and no tutorial to jumping, i have played a bit with my friends fingerboard and the way i jump is just so bad, i put my thumb or pinky underneath the board and fling it up and pray i land the "trick", is there anyway someone or possibly you even help me? i cant find videos on how to jump, would appreciate some help.

I've never broken a truck before yet bought my first "pro" set of dynamics and snapped one in six months. So pro to me doesn't always mean it's the best. Personally I trust china's with good tuning more
