as a Loctician myself, how do you protect your fingers while using the crochet tool?

I had to figure out the right pressure and never take my eyes off of the needle honestly. Everything thing I tried from gloves to bandaids. I just feel like I can’t really feel if it’s secure unless I feel it with my bare fingers .

I tried this technique lastnight and all I can say is ouch my index finger hurts like woo lol how do y'all do it with out scraping your finger tips. And are you pulling in and out or up and down?

Nice! I'm getting instant locs next week. My hair is the same length but I have a taper all around. I'm undecided on which parts to go with, which ones would be best for when I have the locs braided in a style? Also where are you located? I'd rather come to you 😀
