I love the cast's subdued apprehension at Ethan's crash dive. They make it safe and fun but there's always the underlying notion that they're still putting their lives at risk. “It's not awful it's just wrong.” Then proceeds to demonstrate how it's done properly without the risk of injury.

I'm sure some viewers are gonna feel bad for Ethan being told "no, that's wrong" (and maybe it is just his inner gymnast instinctively kicking in) but I think it's super important to be informed of what not to do with stunts like these. Plus we know Ethan is a good sport who listens to others. Additionally, super rad of whoever's editing for keeping that part in and allowing the professionals to have a say in what not to do. The pirates have even more of my respect for taking their jobs seriously to ensure safety first and foremost

@@blueflare3848 he flipped when the fall wasn't supposed to be a flip. Those things are carefully choreographed so it's safe. A flip changes how far he travels and where/how he falls. Doing something that wasn't accounted for can be dangerous. In this case, a flip requires a higher altitude to give the actor a long time to complete the flip and land in a safe position. If you look carefully Ethan lands on his lower back first. While the pirate lands flat with his whole body. The later is safer and less risky despite being higher. It's also more impressive for the audience. So his wasn't an awful flip, it was just wrong.

Arin managed to represent fear of heights really well Something people don't understand is, even AFTER you get the courage to jump, you still feel like shit, because the adrenaline you get doesn't feel good. At least that's what I picked up from him
