So glad to see the horses no longer being crowded all around them by people who don’t know anything about the size and strength a horse has. It seems to be enforced better and less worrying for the guards!!

There is too much of a crushing crowd for safety. The politeness of the British. Police say please and thank you when issuing orders almost constantly.

Lovely black horse. Ears straight up. Here comes the enormous police man issuing orders firmly with please and thank you. I think thank you came twice.

Again police presence is obvious. We are in the yard now. Now crowd coming out of the yard and onto the pavement where the magnificent horses and their Royal Guards do duty. This pure black horse is beautiful but his forelock is wispy. The pavement is thick with people and horse’s ears were straight up with sounds of police sirens. Doors closed behind the horse in the box. This guard astride his horse is a favourite of many because of his kindness. Now to the other horse and guard. Horse has a small narrow white blaze on his face but all sound has ceased. Silence reigns on my iPad and the picture is frozen.
