Wow! Very cute! I was worried that you were going to leave the hair flat. The hair is so much more flattering with the added volume you gave her. I'm a former professional stylist. I love short hair styles on women. Short hair can be very versatile IF cut and styled correctly. Bleached hair and sodium hydroxide do NOT mix as chemicals but your approach to how you handled the hair was awesome! Job well done!!

I'm glad you said that I was told the same thing is school when you go out into the field and work in a salon everything you learned in school is completely different but you still use it when in a salon and you work the way you feel comfortable doing hair every one is different just everything is fast and I still need to work on time management i work so slow and take my time but I love watching it transform I feel bad because if the client has some where to be they will be late but when i do hair I feel like it should be a relaxing day to spoil yourself like at a spa you come to get your hair done why not sleep at the sink and relax but i know time is money so I have to do better but I'm always thinking quality over quantity I don't like taking people then rushing them out to have an empty chair 😓 I want to build a relationship with my clients I'm shadowing someone right now while in school still and I've learned so much I'm soaking everything like a sponge lol i can't wait to graduate this July 🙈

You will be fine. Always remember it’s not only about the money it’s about building an honest relationship with your clients doing your job to the best of your ability and not rushing to get to the next paying client. I have a lot of clients that have been coming to me over 20 years because I make sure when they walk out of my salon they are satisfied. Quality is more important than quantity. So just work at your own pace and pray through the process and in due time you will still give quality services at a faster pace. It’s better to have 2 loyal clients than 10 unsatisfied fly by nights. It’s not always about the money 🤗

Build your foundation first. Once that is in place you'll be able to get comfortable going fast or slow. It just takes time and when you are 10 yrs in you'll be able to look back at how worried you were about not being fast and laugh...(I do it all the time 😉😂)
